We are seeking a talented individual for a Senior Developer/Analyst who participates in the full development life cycle of business software including: - Design - Development - Unit/load testing - Deployment - Maintenance of a software system - Implementation of business software for the enterprise Provides expertise in one or more programming specialties such as server-side web presentation technologies. Your role in our mission includes the following essential responsibilities: - Analyzes, designs, and builds component-based applications in a Web/internet delivery environment. - Designs and develops software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design. - Writes software programming applications working on new and existing applications along with enhancements to web sites, web applications, and infrastructure. - Modifies existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance. - Works with Business Systems Analysts to ensure programming code meets business requirements. - Monitors functioning of equipment to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications. - Consults with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develops specifications and performance requirements, and resolves customer problems. - Coordinates installation of software systems. Qualifications - 5+ years of related experience in Application Design, Development, Maintenance, and Delivery including 3+ years with Application Servers. - 5+ years of programming languages and frameworks including C Sharp, WPF, .Net, ASP .NET, RESTful services, LINQ to SQL, and WCF services. - Strong knowledge of relational databases including DB2 and SQL. - Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite, with a strong emphasis on Access and Visio. - Ability to analyze requirements, manage multiple tasks under pressure, and work both independently and collaboratively. Requirements - Primarily remote within the US with occasional travel may be required (0-10%). - Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required. - Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.
