Role Description We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic, self-driven and hands-on Marketing professional to join africon as Marketing Manager, starting ASAP. The role can be based in Nigeria, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, or South Africa (remote). You will manage africon's marketing activities end-to-end with a strong focus on visibility, content, and external positioning. - Content & Digital Marketing: - Plan and create content across key channels (LinkedIn, website, newsletter) - Manage regular content formats (e.g. insights, articles, Slide of the Month) - Ensure consistent and professional communication of africon's expertise - Website & Company Materials: - Maintain and regularly update the website (content, news, events) - Manage and improve core materials (company presentation, brochures, references) - Newsletter & Outreach: - Prepare and distribute africon's newsletter - Manage and maintain contact databases and distribution lists - Events & External Presence: - Support visibility at events, trade fairs and speaking opportunities - Coordinate communication around africon participation (before/after events) - Branding & Communications: - Ensure consistent branding across all channels and materials - Support announcements (team updates, projects, partnerships, etc.) Qualifications - 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications or content roles (B2B preferred) - Strong ability to create clear, structured and professional content - Hands-on mindset: able to manage multiple small topics independently - Experience with digital channels (LinkedIn, website CMS, newsletters) - Structured and reliable working style in a remote setup - Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus - Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Benefits - A hands-on role with full ownership of marketing in a small, international team - Direct collaboration with management and short decision paths - Flexible, remote part-time setup - Opportunity to shape and improve marketing activities pragmatically

You will capture accurate, court-ready written products; identify, decode, and document colloquialisms, slang, and coded language; and extract and communicate pertinent information to law enforcement personnel. Work may include transcribing source documents and recordings from multiple storage formats (e.g., digital media, audio, and video).
