Job Description

Senior Social Media Manager

• You own the content plan for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn — from planning and briefing to publication. • You brief and coordinate our Creative Team, Motion designers, marketing colleagues and other stakeholders. • You manage our community at scale and actively engage with comments, DMs and user-generated content. • You oversee influencer and UGC collaborations end-to-end — from selection through briefing and content review to performance tracking. • You coordinate paid-social storytelling together with the UA Manager and ensure alignment between organic and paid activities (without direct responsibility for paid ads). • You measure and report relevant social KPIs weekly and monthly — reach, engagement, follower growth as well as app-install and tip-team attribution. • You work closely with Legal to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (especially GlüStV, GGL) without restricting creative approaches. • You are on-site for major brand activations to produce content and generate maximum attention. • You identify and test new channels such as Pinterest, Reddit and others.

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in social media management.
  • Ideally 3+ years with channel responsibility for a German B2C consumer brand.
  • Proven success in generating measurable app installs or user acquisition through organic and influencer-driven initiatives — not just reach.
  • Experience managing influencer and creator collaborations with clearly measurable results.
  • Demonstrable growth of organic channels (portfolio / case studies required).
  • Solid platform expertise in at least two of the following: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn.
  • Strong analytical skills in interpreting engagement, attribution and conversion data and building meaningful dashboards.
  • Experience collaborating with Creative teams (video, design, copy).
  • Hands-on experience in video editing (e.g., CapCut, Premiere, basic After Effects knowledge).
  • Native-level German in spoken and written form, including strong copywriting skills.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and trust-based/flexible working hours.
  • 30 vacation days per year.
  • 2 additional company holidays (Dec 24, Dec 31).
  • Generous learning and development budget.
  • Distinctive team events.
  • Innovative benefits program.
  • Open, honest and direct communication.
  • A feedback meeting every quarter to grow together.
  • Everything you need for your workday: MacBook, headphones, and more.
  • A modern and inspiring workspace in Berlin or in Konstanz on Lake Constance.
  • One learning day per month and a generous development budget for your personal growth.
  • Buddy program: an experienced teammate supports you from day one to help with onboarding.

• Own and scale Simple's social ecosystem across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook — spanning the main brand, UGC-led accounts, AI creator-led formats, and R&D/experimentation channels. • Turn social into a measurable growth channel by driving organic acquisition, funnel contribution, and social-driven revenue — not just reach and engagement. • Build and operate a structured content engine: trend discovery → concept → production → publishing → performance analysis → new hypotheses. Run dozens of bets per month, double down on winners, and quickly kill what doesn't work. • Lead a lean cross-functional production team — including a designer, motion designer, creator/host, nutrition expert, and external contributors — while owning the production pipeline end-to-end, including budget. • Build AI-assisted workflows across research, ideation, scripting, editing, and iteration — enabling the team to ship 5–10x more content without compromising brand quality. • Lead viral and trend-driven experimentation in the fitness & nutrition space without putting the core brand at risk — using sub-brand and R&D accounts as testing grounds before scaling winning formats to the main feed.
