Title:Senior Front end Engineer Location: Veldhoven North Brabant NL Job Description: Currently, Cross Border Talents are in search of a Senior Front end Engineer for one of our clients in the Netherlands. The company in question is a renowned Dutch agency specialized in the recruitment and relocation of technical specialists for the Netherlands. Some of the names they work with include clients like ASML, VDL, DAF Trucks, Siemens and many more. For one of their projects for a company which is an international innovation leader in the semiconductor industry, they are looking for a Senior Front end Engineer. Their client is a global organization with 70 offices spanning 16 different countries, headquartered in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. As a Front-end Senior Engineer, you will be part of Agile Scrum team that works on architectural design, implementation, testing and maintenance of Diagnostics applications. You will have access to world class engineering facilities and be at the core of our mission to create valuable software products used by our customers in the Diagnostics field. You will work in a fast-paced and agile development environment. As a Front end Engineer your responsibilities will be to: - Take lead in defining detailed design that realizes UI/Front-end building block(s) as defined by Product Backlogvand in collaboration with the Software Architects and UX engineers. - Create and collaborate on proofs-of-concept, to evaluate new technologies or design directions. - Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review and coaching of other team members. - Closely collaborate with the Product Owner and Stakeholders in order to secure high-quality, highly-valued user interface. - Championing the use of common components to reduce development time and drive consistency. - Guard the consistency of technical realization of software within your area of responsibility. Make sure the software fulfils license obligations, is well-tested, with minimal technical debt, works well with CI/CD pipelines and is internally consistent. Requirements - At least 5 years of work experience as a Front-end web Developer. - Proven experience with modern JavaScript web framework (React, Angular, etc.). - Solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts, as well as understanding in core - web and browser concepts. - Experience with unit testing. - Experience with development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum. - Understanding of data visualization libraries is a plus. - Fluent in English.
