Role Description We're building something that matters. People trust Parkdean Resorts with their holidays, and the websites, booking journeys, and applications that make those holidays happen need to be the best they can be. That's where you come in. The code you write here will be used by millions of customers. Every booking, every search, every confirmation email. That's the product. You'll sit inside a squad alongside Test Engineers, Product, and Delivery, reporting to a Lead Software Engineer who sets the technical bar and works hands-on alongside you. You'll take features from refinement through to production: - Designing the change - Writing the code - Testing it - Getting it reviewed - Seeing it released This is product engineering, not corporate IT. Role Description The Frontend / UX Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing user interfaces that deliver a secure, accessible, and intuitive experience for personnel and stakeholders. This role is central to the modernization of client's radiation exposure management, focusing on the implementation of responsive, user-centered web applications that support complex workflows such as dosimeter inventory management, exposure tracking, organizational hierarchy navigation, and role-based access control (RBAC). The engineer collaborates closely with product owners, backend/API engineers, and operational stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into visually engaging, compliant, and high-performing user interfaces. The Frontend / UX Engineer ensures that all interfaces adhere to accessibility, cybersecurity, and privacy standards, and are optimized for usability across a range of devices and operational environments, including both connected and disconnected scenarios. The position requires expertise in modern frontend frameworks, accessibility best practices, and user experience (UX) research and design. The engineer is responsible for maintaining comprehensive UI documentation, supporting user acceptance testing, and continuously refining the interface based on user feedback and evolving mission needs. This role is essential for enabling client users to efficiently and accurately perform critical tasks, access actionable data, and maintain compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
