Network Engineer
Transaction Network Services (TNS)
• Support add/move/change (MAC) activities across production financial-markets networks • Configure and troubleshoot Layer‑2 and Layer‑3 network services • Assist with BGP, OSPF, and IS‑IS routing changes and troubleshooting • Support NAT configuration and fault isolation (static and dynamic NAT) • Assist with IP multicast (IGMP, PIM) used for market data distribution • Perform packet capture and traffic analysis (tcpdump, Wireshark or equivalent) • Assist with Layer‑1 troubleshooting including physical connectivity and latency-sensitive paths • Follow disciplined change, documentation, and operational processes • Work with senior engineers on automation-enabled configuration and validation
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting global IP networks
- Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista platforms
- Strong Layer‑2 knowledge (VLANs, trunking, STP, LACP)
- Strong Layer‑3 fundamentals (BGP basics, OSPF/IS‑IS concepts)
- NAT fundamentals and troubleshooting experience
- Multicast fundamentals (IGMP, PIM)
- Packet capture and analysis skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Certifications: CCNA or CCNP, NCIA or JNCIP
