Job Description
Director, AI Transformation
ActivTrak
• Define and maintain the AI transformation roadmap, aligned to operational priorities across Revenue, Data, BI, and go-to-market functions • Establish OKRs for AI adoption, productivity impact, and tool ROI, and report progress to the senior leadership • Evaluate, recommend, and govern the AI tool stack, balancing capability, cost, and organizational readiness • Identify the highest-leverage AI use cases across business functions and sequence delivery based on impact and feasibility • Build, prompt, and iterate on AI solutions directly by working in the tools • Design and deploy agentic AI workflows that automate multi-step processes across business functions, moving beyond single-prompt tools to systems that reason, plan and act • Work fluently with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to connect AI models to internal systems, data sources, and third-party tools, understanding how to configure, extend, and govern those integrations • Use AI coding tools (including Claude Code and GPT Codex) to accelerate solution development, automate scripts, and build internal tooling without requiring full engineering resources • Partner with the AI Admin on integrations, prompt libraries, and production readiness for new solutions • Lead proof-of-concept work on emerging AI capabilities, stress-testing tools before broader rollout • Manage and develop a small team, setting clear scope, priorities, and success metrics for each role • Create a high-trust, high-output team culture grounded in curiosity, iteration, and business impact • Own the AI governance framework for the organization. Define policies for acceptable use, data handling, model selection and vendor risk across all AI tools and workflows • Establish guardrails for agentic AI systems, ensuring automated workflows have appropriate human-in-the-loop checkpoints, audit trails, and rollback procedures • Partner with Legal, Security, and IT to ensure AI integrations meet data privacy, compliance and information security standards (including SOC 2, GDPR, or customer data handling requirements) • Stay current on the evolving regulatory landscape around AI and proactively surface business implications before they become blockers • Maintain a clear inventory of all AI tools, integrations, and MCP connections in use across the organization, with documented risk ratings and review cadences • Serve as the primary point of contact for all AI needs across ActivTrak — any team, any function, any use case routes through you first • Own and run the AI steering cadence: facilitate cross-functional meetings with business leads, set the agenda, drive decisions and ensure follow-through on commitments • Lead up effectively. You're comfortable presenting roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior leadership, and you know how to frame tradeoffs in business terms, not technical ones • Influence without authority across peer functions. Build a case and bring people along • Represent the AI Transform function in leadership forums and communicate progress, priorities and risks
Job Requirements
- 7 years in operations, RevOps, GTM strategy or technology transformation, with at least 2 years managing people or leading a function
- Demonstrated hands-on experience implementing AI solutions in a business context
- Fluency with modern AI platforms and the GTM stack: LLMs, no-code/low-code automation, CRM AI features, sequencing tools, enrichment platforms and attribution systems
- Working knowledge of agentic AI concepts and architectures. You understand how to design systems where AI models take multi-step actions, not just answer questions
- Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or equivalent integration patterns for connecting AI to live data sources and internal tooling
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GPT Codex or similar. You are comfortable using these tools to build scripts, automate workflows and accelerate internal development
- Demonstrated understanding of AI governance and compliance considerations: acceptable use policies, data privacy, vendor risk, audit trails and human oversight requirements
- Active learner who stays current on the fast-moving AI landscape — new model releases, emerging frameworks and evolving best practices — and translates that into actionable guidance for the business
- SaaS company experience strongly preferred
- Clear, confident communicator who can translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
- Change management intuition. You understand the hardest part of AI transformation is behavioral, not technical
- High ownership orientation. You make calls, iterate and take accountability for outcomes
Benefits
- Competitive compensation and benefits
- Minimal travel.
- Limited physical demands.

Role Description As the AI Change Management Lead, you'll own the human side of AI transformation at ActivTrak. While the Director, AI Transformation sets the strategy and the AI Admin builds and manages the solutions, you’ll make sure that employees understand them, adopt them and get value from them. You're the bridge between what the AI team builds and the behavior change that makes those builds matter. As a member of the AI Transformation team, you'll be a key partner in how the team plans, communicates and measures its work — and a trusted resource for the rest of the business when it comes to AI. You'll also work closely with Revenue Enablement and HR to align AI change efforts with broader organizational enablement initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Adoption Strategy & Planning: - Own the AI adoption roadmap in lockstep with the Director, AI Transformation's delivery, ensuring every solution that ships has a corresponding change and enablement plan. - Define, track and report adoption metrics for each AI initiative such as active usage, time-to-proficiency, self-serve rate on a regular cadence. - Tailor enablement approaches to align with business and department initiatives. - Identify adoption risks before and during rollout and bring mitigation options, not just problems. - Training & Enablement: - Design and deliver training programs for every AI tool and workflow the team ships through live sessions, async content, quick-reference guides and peer learning formats. - Build and maintain a centralized AI use case library: a living resource of proven workflows, prompt templates and best practices for any employee to self-serve. - Develop plain-language guidance that translates the technical capabilities built by the team into content any employee can act on immediately. - Run regular enablement touchpoints with department leads and power users, embedding AI habits into existing workflows rather than creating parallel ones. - Stay current on AI tools and emerging capabilities. Understand them well enough to teach others to use them confidently. - Meeting Facilitation & Stakeholder Engagement: - Support the Director, AI Transformation in running the AI steering cadence. Own the logistics, prepare materials, capture decisions and drive follow-through on action items. - Facilitate department-level AI onboarding and working sessions independently. - Maintain a pulse on employee sentiment related to AI across functions to influence opportunities for enablement or support. - Build relationships with champions and influencers in each business function who can accelerate adoption from within their teams. - Internal Communications: - Own all internal AI communications, including launch announcements, Slack updates, newsletters, and leadership briefings, keeping the organization informed, engaged, and motivated. - Develop and maintain a consistent internal narrative around why AI matters at ActivTrak, grounding it in real employee outcomes and business impact rather than technology hype. - Create and manage feedback channels that make it easy for employees to share what's working and what isn't and synthesize that input into actionable insights for the business. - Governance Support: - Partner with the Director, AI Transformation to communicate AI governance policies and acceptable use guidelines across the organization in ways that are clear, accessible and non-threatening. - Develop training and reference materials that help employees understand data privacy, compliance expectations and responsible AI use in their day-to-day work. - Track and report on governance-related feedback and questions from employees, helping to identify where policy clarification or reinforcement is needed. Qualifications - 5 years in learning and development, organizational change management, sales enablement, revenue operations or a closely related field. - Demonstrated track record of building structured change and enablement programs from scratch. You've designed the approach, not just executed someone else's playbook. - Hands-on experience with modern AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or similar so you can teach others to use them effectively. - Experience facilitating meetings and working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders. - Strong written communicator who can produce crisp internal content across formats: Slack updates, launch announcements, training guides and executive briefings. - Experience using data to measure and improve adoption outcomes. - High empathy for employees who are skeptical of or overwhelmed by new technology. You meet people where they are, not where you wish they were. - Comfort working in a SaaS environment with cross-functional stakeholders across sales, operations and business functions. - Collaborative and low-ego. You get energy from other people's success and are comfortable operating without the spotlight. - Active learner who stays current on AI tools and change management best practices and brings that knowledge back to the team. Work Environment - Competitive compensation and benefits. - Position is remote within US. - Minimal travel. - Limited physical demands.
