• assist in accurately reading, interpreting and entering prescriptions into the computer system • calculate doses and assignment of directions • accept proper insurance payment in a timely fashion • route incomplete or unclear prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification • enter incomplete prescription information once clarification has been obtained • assist with inbound phone calls • interact with customers and cross-functional team to answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintain our company’s reputation for high-quality service • include new patient enrollment, verification of insurance coverage and perform benefit investigations and processing of medication orders for both new and existing patients • require a working knowledge of insurance, health care, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and providing customer education • routine assessment and problem identification with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist • independent and self-directed performance
Job Requirements
- Must live in Texas
- Six months experience in a pharmacy technician role
- Six months work experience with Windows-based applications like Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
- Six months computer keyboarding skills and aptitude
- Active Valid Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification as required by the State of TX
- Direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 7 feet of your computer and a minimum download speed of 25 mbs download and 3 mbs upload

Coordinates and arranges for all outpatient radiology orders to ensure patients have received financial clearance from insurance companies and troubleshoot as needed.
