Virtual MSK Physician - Pelvic Health

Role Description The role of the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physician is to virtually deliver exceptional patient care to patients with both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, without the use of opioids. We seek individuals with excellent clinical skills who embrace innovation in integrated care. There is a strong emphasis on evidence-based use of imaging and medications. - Evaluate complex patients with a physical therapist. - Supervise nurse practitioners. - Participate in weekly patient rounds to discuss challenging patients with a goal of optimizing patient outcomes. - Experience evaluating and treating pelvic floor and pelvic health conditions within an evidence-based, multidisciplinary care model. - Support patients with conditions such as pelvic pain, postpartum musculoskeletal concerns, urinary dysfunction, core instability, and other related conditions. Qualifications - Board certification in one of the following: - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with MSK/Sports/Spine Fellowship - Family Medicine with MSK/Sports/Spine Fellowship - Emergency Medicine with MSK/Sports/Spine Fellowship - Internal Medicine with MSK/Sports/Spine Fellowship - MD/DO with unrestricted license and at least 3 years clinical practice after training. - English speaking. - Experience with virtual care delivery. - Willingness to obtain multiple state licenses. - Demonstrated competence and passion for digital care delivery or telehealth. - Outstanding written and spoken communication skills. - Proven record of matching patient needs to treatment plans. - Ability to describe medical conditions in an understandable fashion. - Experience administering a wide range of techniques delivered digitally. - Strong sense of empathy and a compassionate outlook. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. - High speed internet + ability to work from home. Requirements - Pelvic floor, women's health, or pelvic health clinical experience (nice-to-have). - Spanish speaking (nice-to-have). - Experience with administration of GLP-1 medications (nice-to-have). - Fracture care (non-operative management) (nice-to-have). - Bone Health management (nice-to-have). - Ability to maintain attention to detail while also seeing the big picture. - Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. - Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate. - Critical thinking skills, flexibility, and the ability to design innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment. - Comfort working within a startup environment of rapid pace and constant change. - Graceful at managing expectations while pushing for continuous improvement. - Experience and comfort working closely with clinical teams to accomplish shared goals. - Commitment to be a member of a learning organization, open to development and continuous feedback.
