Mechanical Design Engineer II

Role Description ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a dynamic Design Engineer II to join our team. In this role, you will engage in a variety of engineering tasks, providing support on project plans for complex projects within our gas business unit. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading projects, solving complex challenges, and building systems that directly support operations. - Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and drafters to develop design packages for complex projects. - Contribute calculations, drawings, and documentation that meet project requirements and industry standards. - Support both small and large projects, taking ownership of discipline-specific design work on simpler efforts. - Assist with technical analysis on more complex projects. - Work through design challenges and communicate impacts to scope, cost, schedule, and quality. - Build proficiency in CAD and engineering tools. - Ensure quality by reviewing your own work and participating in peer and QA/QC checks. - Help coordinate key information through project leaders and may occasionally support field activities. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution. - Minimum 1 year of work experience in the pipeline industry or a related engineering or consulting industry. Requirements - Experience with gas facility work (preferred). - Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (preferred).
