Role Description We are seeking a Shipboard Supply Technician / Logistics Specialist to support the Multi-Mission Data Link (MMDL) program. This role provides hands-on logistics and supply support to ensure mission readiness, material availability, and accurate inventory management across program activities. This role is well-suited for candidates with prior Navy shipboard logistics or supply experience who are interested in applying their background in a civilian defense environment. - Manage and track inventory, repair parts, and equipment supporting program and fleet requirements - Coordinate ordering, receipt, inspection, and issuance of materials to ensure timely mission support - Maintain accurate logistics data, inventory databases, and system records to support reporting and accountability - Support shipping, receiving, and material movement activities, including inspection of incoming cargo and equipment - Perform inventory reconciliation and assist in resolving discrepancies across logistics systems - Generate reports, documentation, and correspondence supporting logistics operations and program tracking - Coordinate with internal program teams, supply chain personnel, and government stakeholders to ensure material readiness - Utilize logistics and inventory management systems to track assets, maintain records, and support operational requirements - Assist with financial tracking related to logistics activities, including material accountability and audit readiness Qualifications - U.S. Citizen with active/current Secret Clearance - High School Diploma - 4+ years of relevant experience - Experience supporting shipboard logistics operations.
