EDI Supervisor
Strategic HR Business Advisors
• Oversee accurate and efficient data exchange with external partners while ensuring compliance with industry standards. • Manage the EDI ticket process and serve as the primary point of contact for configuration and process-related questions. • Configure and test ANSI 834 files, gather carrier requirements, and provide ongoing support for file integrations and data reconciliation. • Manage integrated carrier files, payroll vendor APIs, and support renewal and open enrollment processes. • Oversee the shared EDI inbox, create and assign tickets, maintain project documentation, and manage select broker relationships. • Lead a team while maintaining an individual caseload, assisting with workload balancing, coaching, performance reviews, and team-building efforts. • Lead daily scrum meetings and serve as the first point of escalation for urgent issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with ANSI 834 file testing and implementation required.
- Strong knowledge of the health insurance industry and core products, including medical, dental, and vision, required.
- Experience with Employee Navigator or similar enrollment management systems required.
- Ability to manage high-volume emails, competing priorities, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment required.
- Prior Team Lead or Supervisor experience preferred.
- Effective communication, organization, project management, and Microsoft Office skills.

• Lead, coach, and manage a team of Patient Support Associates to ensure medication adherence, prior authorization completion, and financial assistance support • Provide ongoing performance management, training, and mentorship • Manage staffing, scheduling, PTO, and time reporting (ADP) • Step in to support workload during peak or short-staffed periods • Ensure patients receive medications on time and without barriers • Partner with hospital/clinic stakeholders through regular meetings and collaboration calls • Maintain strong working relationships with pharmacy and clinical teams • Monitor and ensure achievement of service level metrics and quality standards • Conduct audits, oversee system workflows, and manage responsiveness to incoming requests • Establish and optimize workflows between Patient Support, liaison teams, and clinical integration teams • Identify and implement operational improvements and best practices • Support data, analytics, contracting, and special projects • Provide troubleshooting, guidance, and issue resolution for team members and partners • Assist with hiring, onboarding, training coordination, and system access setup • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient and business data
