Role Description Scopely is looking for a Staff Engineer to join our Monopoly GO! game team in our Culver City studio hub, or remotely on the West Coast of the US or Canada. Monopoly GO! is our new casual game and a key franchise that has just become one of Scopely’s largest games enjoyed by millions of players. The team is based in Europe and the US and works every day to create captivating new experiences for our players. At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play every day. You will have the opportunity to work in one of our game teams, developing new features with our talented team and contributing to a game that is played by millions of players around the world. You will be responsible for: - Working closely with feature owners, the game design team and other development teams to implement new features and technological pipelines for Monopoly Go! - Driving the implementation of online game mechanics and system processes using Unity and C# - Ensuring technical performance is “Best-in-Class” throughout development - Writing automated, high-quality tests (unit, integration, load, etc.) and working with QA teams to improve gameplay experience, curtail exploits and ensure that everything works smoothly - Collaborating and communicating with cross-functional departments including: game design, QA, liveops, etc. - Contributing to technical plans and discussing the workflows and requirements with stakeholders Qualifications - 8+ years as part of a professional game development team or other relevant area - Mastery of C# or another OO language, including experience with asynchronous and multi-threaded programming paradigms - Experience with and knowledge of Unity Game Engine or a similar technology (i.e. Unreal Engine) - Strong understanding of game framework architecture at scale, maintainability over time, robust API design, etc. - Experience with asynchronous, multi-threaded, parallel programming paradigms and other techniques to maximize UI responsiveness and do operations in background - Enjoys solving complex technical problems and also knows how to share knowledge with non-technical people Requirements - Experience building your own games as personal projects or game jams - Experience with asset pipelines: asset bundles, dependency management, etc. - Mobile experience (iOS and Android): ability to debug native device issues, strong understanding of hardware and platform limitations, performance metrics, etc. - Experience with AWS, Docker, Kibana, automated testing - Experience managing people, driving 1:1s and performance reviews, doing follow ups and providing regular feedback to direct reports - Experience driving and leading the technical execution of complex and interdisciplinary developments Benefits - Annual salary range for candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY, and WA: $169,600 — $253,000 USD - Eligibility for equity and bonuses - Comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off

Role Description We are looking for Advanced Manufacturing Engineers to support New Product Introduction and manufacturing execution for complex modular systems in the energy, power generation, and data center sectors. This role is ideal for manufacturing engineers with experience translating engineering designs into production-ready processes, developing BOMs, supporting build documentation, and helping industrialize engineered products. The company’s core products include Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Generator Systems, and Modular Data Centers, so experience in any of these areas is highly valuable. BOM development experience is a major plus. The selected candidates will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operations teams to support product readiness, documentation, and production launch. Key Responsibilities - Support New Product Introduction activities from early design through production release. - Assist with manufacturing deliverables, including BOM development, routings, tooling requirements, work instructions, and process documentation. - Translate engineering designs into clear manufacturing strategies for modular and containerized products. - Review designs for manufacturability, assembly efficiency, cost, quality, and production scalability. - Support prototype, pilot, and early production builds. - Identify manufacturing issues during early builds and help drive corrective actions with engineering and operations teams. - Support documentation related to fabrication, assembly, electrical integration, mechanical systems, and quality checks. - Collaborate with supply chain and sourcing teams to validate components, lead times, supplier readiness, and material availability. - Partner with quality teams to define inspection points, acceptance criteria, and control plans. - Support production handoff by ensuring required documentation is complete, accurate, and ready for use by operations. - Assist with manufacturing risk identification related to process complexity, tooling, labor, cost, schedule, safety, and supply chain. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. - 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, NPI, production engineering, or similar roles. - Experience supporting engineered products, industrial equipment, modular systems, power systems, or electromechanical products. - Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication, assembly, production documentation, and build readiness. - Experience working with BOMs, routings, work instructions, production documentation, or ERP/MRP-related manufacturing data. - Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operations teams. - Strong English communication skills. - Ability to work remotely while maintaining strong alignment with U.S.-based teams. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with BESS, energy storage, power generation, generator sets, modular data centers, or containerized power systems. - Strong BOM development experience. - Experience with high-mix, engineered-to-order manufacturing environments. - Familiarity with NPI phase gates, APQP, PPAP, or similar structured product launch processes. - Experience supporting prototype builds, pilot builds, production ramps, or manufacturing handoffs. - Knowledge of electrical and mechanical integration, including switchgear, UPS, inverters, batteries, engines, alternators, cooling systems, or power distribution. - Familiarity with UL, NFPA, or other industrial / electrical safety standards is a plus. - Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is a plus. - Experience working with U.S.-based manufacturing or engineering teams is preferred. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a manufacturing engineer with strong technical judgment, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between engineering and production. This person should be comfortable reviewing technical information, developing BOMs, supporting manufacturing readiness, and helping teams move products from design into production efficiently.
