Senior Data Engineer

Role Description The Senior Data Engineer leads the design and optimization of complex data architectures. With advanced technical expertise, this role ensures that data is accurate, secure, and scalable while guiding the team in day-to-day integration challenges. - Design and implement large-scale data architectures and optimize data pipelines daily. - Monitor data quality and integrity through regular audits and validation processes. - Mentor junior team members in troubleshooting and best practices during daily check-ins. - Participate in routine data governance and compliance meetings. Qualifications - 10+ years of data engineering experience - Proficient in SQL, Python, dimensional modeling, and data pipeline design. - Proven skills in designing scalable systems and strong knowledge of data governance. - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL tools. - Experience with Snowflake Snowpark, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks - Experience implementing and maintaining Snowflake on Azure - Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities. Requirements - Prior experience in PBM or healthcare industries is a plus - Familiarity with modern data tools (Apache Airflow, Kafka) - Experience performance tuning pipelines for slowly changing dimensions - Experience using integrated data lineage tools as part of ETL pipelines - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some standing, walking, bending, and reaching may be required. Regularly operates in an office setting which involves utilizing a computer, mouse, keyboard, and occasionally operates other standard office equipment such as a printer, copier, and phone. Minimal travel may be required. Salary $118,876 - $139,307

Role Description The Data Team Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily activities of the data analysis team involved in designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting data warehouse systems and projects. The role ensures that data reporting, data modeling, and data-related projects run efficiently, supporting organizational objectives and maintaining data quality. The supervisor also acts as the primary point of contact for all data reporting, analytics, and database support needs. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered. - 7+ years of experience in a data-focused technology role, with heavy exposure to SQL server databases and Power BI (or similar tools). - Previous experience in a supervisory or management role required.
