Systems Functional Analyst
AVUM
• Providing functional analysis of business systems • Guiding user interface design and system functionality • Addressing customer questions related to the systems/applications, researching open requests, and contacting external contacts for answers • Coordinating with external system POCs to set up interfaces and resolve issues • Supporting the management of the product backlog and development assignments and translating customer requirements into actionable tasks for the development team • Managing, documenting, and participating in user events, including training, testing/evaluation sessions, user acceptance testing, and product review sessions • Learning new applications and related business processes to document/communicate the system gaps with customer requirements • Facilitate discussions with various personnel to document requirements and specifications, including intended outcomes, features, and functionality • Develop and document functional specifications associated with system enhancements • Ensure clarity of documented requirements to prevent scope creep, gold plating, or non-value-added activities • Document business requirements according to industry best practices and PMO processes • Document functional workflow diagrams to capture business goals and high-level scope • Coordinate project deliverables with the Project Manager, including project meeting scheduling, activity tracking, status report creation • Demonstrate superior customer service, integrity, and commitment to innovation, efficiency, and fiscally responsible activity
Job Requirements
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Clearance
- Five (5) years of functional analysis of enterprise software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical team members
- Ability to apply experience in Microsoft product suite, including MS Project and MS Office (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to solve problems, identify risks, and communicate results and recommendations to leadership and customers
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical, operational, and management audiences with broad and varied backgrounds
- Technically capable of employing new tools and related technologies supporting the project, specifically including tools for collaboration and agile scrum artifacts
- Familiarity with the Department of Defense (DoD) Procure-to-Pay processes and the Department of the Navy (DON) Electronic Procurement System (ePS)
- Experienced on DoD RMF and MASS workflows.

Role Description Help support our nation’s Veterans by joining our high-performance, Healthcare technology team. SAIC has an opening for an EDI Analyst who will be required to respond to end-user requests for assistance in the operation and functionality with both Tier 1 and Tier 2 level support with EDI transactions using the Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) X12. Role Description CTG is seeking a remote Specialty Pharmacy Analyst for our client in the Mid Atlantic area. This role is responsible for the design, build, implementation, and ongoing support of Specialty Pharmacy workflows within Compass Rose. This role partners with pharmacy, clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to ensure Specialty Pharmacy functionality is optimized, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals. The analyst will lead and support Compass Rose build activities, with a strong focus on Specialty Pharmacy operations. Experience with Healthy Planet is a plus. • Provide primary technical support for CAPPS Recruit, including system configuration, testing, and collaboration with software publishers and the Managed Services vendor to ensure performance and continuous improvement. • Lead and manage the transition of more than 40 state agencies from Oracle Taleo Talent Acquisition Suite to Oracle PeopleSoft Recruit (TAM/CG), including planning, coordination, and technical execution. • Ensure CAPPS HR/Payroll requirements, procedures, development activities, and testing deliverables from the Managed Services vendor comply with CAPPS written procedures, coding standards, and the CAPPS System Development Lifecycle (SDLC). • Provide oversight for functional and technical design walks, including analysis of business processes, review of functional specifications and integration documentation, evaluation of upstream/downstream dependencies, and assessment of performance, security, scalability, and data quality impacts. • Review developed code for compliance with CPA-defined requirements and conduct validated code comparisons prior to migration to ensure adherence to all established standards. • Ensure all digital products and content meet WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards, regularly reviewing content for compliance and implementing updates or remediation as needed. • Support Agency Direct Data Access (ADDA) functions by collaborating with CAPPS analysts, Managed Services resources, and representatives from 100+ agencies, and by providing actionable recommendations that remain within CPA standards. • Perform Level 2 Service Desk duties, including complex ticket handling, in-depth troubleshooting, documented analysis, and basic configurations following established and auditable processes. • Maintain and respond to customer ticket requests via the CAPPS Service Desk, addressing issues related to interfaces, configurations, SAML connectivity, IP whitelisting, EFT server connectivity, agency transfer files, and batch failures. • Participate in Disaster Recovery and Upgrade Testing activities, support annual SOC-1 attestation audits, and perform all work in accordance with ITIL principles and CPA security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy standards.
