• Serves as the senior technical leader for AWS cloud platform strategy, driving transformational initiatives across the organization's multi-account AWS Landing Zone environment • Defines the technical vision and long-term roadmap for cloud platform services • Establishes enterprise-wide standards, architectural patterns, and best practices for AWS infrastructure automation using TypeScript, Terraform, and GitLab • Provides hands-on technical leadership on complex architecture challenges while influencing strategic decisions • Drive adoption of platform capabilities and infrastructure patterns across application development teams • Lead major cloud migration and modernization programs, defining migration strategies and transformation roadmaps

• Leads the Cloud Platform Engineering team to design, build, and automate foundational AWS infrastructure and platform services across a multi-account AWS Landing Zone environment • Guides the team in developing scalable, secure automation solutions using TypeScript, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD • Champions infrastructure-as-code best practices, platform standardization, and operational excellence across hybrid cloud environments • Drives platform innovation while ensuring governance, compliance, and reliability across hundreds of AWS child accounts • Lead and mentor a team of Cloud Platform Engineers, establishing standards and best practices for AWS platform automation and infrastructure-as-code • Architect and automate AWS Landing Zone infrastructure using AWS Control Tower, Organizations, and Service Control Policies across large-scale multi-account environments • Design and implement platform automation solutions using TypeScript, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code modules and reusable components using Terraform and CloudFormation StackSets • Build serverless automation frameworks leveraging Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, and API Gateway • Establish centralized logging, monitoring, and observability platforms using CloudWatch and related AWS services • Create self-service platform capabilities and standardized infrastructure patterns for application teams • Collaborate with Security, Network, and Application teams to ensure platform security, compliance, and operational resilience • Establish disaster recovery strategies, backup automation, and business continuity planning for platform services • Evaluate and implement emerging AWS services and cloud-native technologies to enhance platform capabilities • Provide technical leadership for cloud migration projects and infrastructure modernization efforts • Ensure compliance with internal governance standards, regulatory requirements, and AWS best practices

• Manage day-to-day AWS operations, including EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, IAM, and VPC, ensuring reliability, scalability, and backups • Operate, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines, supporting deployments and automating infrastructure tasks • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and on-call rotations, contributing to runbooks and operational playbooks • Monitor and optimize cloud usage, supporting cost-efficiency initiatives and reporting on savings opportunities • Operate and support MongoDB clusters, ensuring performance, backups, scaling, and integration with applications • Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability using Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch, and OpenTelemetry • Apply security best practices, including IAM policies, patching, logging, and compliance tasks (SOC 2, ISO, HIPAA) • Collaborate with engineering and security teams to ensure smooth, secure, and efficient platform operations

• Partner with our cloud engineering and product teams to produce engaging high quality training courses and content for Datadog’s customer and partner curriculums • Collaborate with other team members to evaluate customer training requirements. Turn those requirements into a roadmap with clearly scoped courses and well defined learning paths • Create high quality courses that can be delivered both as self paced online programs or instructor-led training • Develop supplemental and supporting courseware and documentation, including workshops, hands-on labs, and webinars • Create, maintain, and improve the technical systems and environments used in hands-on labs (using the Instruqt hands-on lab platform) • Mentor existing staff in cloud engineering best practices, instructional design insights, and technical collaboration
