The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Data Integration and Analytics Developer to support our Data Integration and Analytics (DI&A) Team virtually. This position will focus on supporting the Engineering & Technology Innovation business organization. This role will be responsible for database architecture and tool development, supporting aggregation of structured and unstructured data. Data is found across various formats, including data warehouses, SharePoint, or file shares. Data also may be mined from PDF documents, drawings, or legacy databases. The DI&A team unifies engineering, standards, chemical and cost data into discoverable information that delivers actionable insights, accelerating selection, reuse, and technology transition. The integration team develops processes, methods and tools to multiply the productivity and effectiveness of the entire organization through consolidated data visibility. Examples include hazardous material reporting, web-based tools for engineering product reuse, data automation and LLM chatbot integration. Position Responsibilities: - Design and develop database systems to integrate data from numerous sources, improve data quality, and support clean and efficient data mining and management. - Design and maintain database security architecture. - Experience with Oracle, AWS, Google Cloud Foundry, and Microsoft SQL Server - Develop and map XML schema to support data import from and export to an Oracle database. - SQL coding and PowerBI expertise with capacity to perform research to develop and comprehend existing code. - Establish related data tables, views, constraints, triggers as well as stored procedures and functions using both T-SQL and PL/SQL to support data import, export, reporting, tracking and quality checking. - Utilizing PL/SQL and JavaScript within Oracle Application Express (APEX) environment to establish a web-based application, including dynamic actions and complex table operations. - Ability to understand complex data analysis and mining solutions and how they impact automation in data reporting. - Ability to apply a structured approach to problem solving with thoroughness and increased attention to detail. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry AND 5 or more years' of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (Ex: PhD, Master's + 3 or more years' related work experience) - 10 years' experience working with large database systems - Experience in SQL programming and database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)?with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL coding Desired Experiences, Skills, and Qualifications: - Formal Analytics Background - Demonstrated ability to work in a team dynamic - Ability to analytically solve problems and proactively seek out information - Expertise in Microsoft Excel - Experience developing web applications using Oracle APEX - Experience working extensively in a team dynamic - Experience designing and performing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) activities - Experience with Power Pivot, Power Query- DAX, and Excel templates consisting of VBA scripts - Familiarity with Power BI Report Server - Experience with Oracle, AWS, Google Cloud Foundry, and Microsoft SQL Server - Experience with Microsoft Project Web App (PWA) / Project Server - Experience coding in C# - Familiarity with Gitlab version control - Understand how to extract and/or integrate information from various data sources (MS SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, XML, CSV, JSON) - Experience working with enterprise material data systems - Experience with Boeing Material and Process Specifications Travel: 10% Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
