Role Description We’re hiring a VP of Engineering to lead the technical organization behind Andromeda’s platform and operations. This is a builder–operator role, not a pure people-management role. This is a change leadership role, not a “scale what already works” role. Your job is to introduce the structure we need to scale, and do so without alienating a high-performing team or grinding the business to a halt. - Build the Platform (Hands-On Where It Matters) - Own the architecture, development, and operation of Andromeda Cloud, Andromeda Rails, and Andromeda OS. - Success looks like a world-class developer experience, frictionless supply onboarding, and automated matching. - Own Customer Solutions and Support - Accountable for platform stability, performance, and uptime. - Incident response, observability, and post-mortems. - DevOps and SRE excellence. - Turning customer pain into fast product improvements. - Be a Technical Partner to Revenue - Support large, complex, high-stakes deals with deep technical credibility. - Translate customer needs into concrete architectures. - Build tools, benchmarks, demos, and POCs that accelerate sales. - Equip GTM teams with accurate technical materials and guardrails. - Close the loop between the field and the roadmap. - Build the Engineering Organization (Without Bureaucracy) - Build a small, elite, high-trust engineering team. - Hire exceptional engineers with strong judgment and ownership. - Set clear priorities and technical direction. - Avoid premature process while enforcing accountability. - Own Security and Compliance - Lead SOC 2 Type II and ISO readiness and certification. - Define security architecture across platform, infrastructure, and data. - Manage third-party risk and vendor security. - Support enterprise and government procurement. - Build a compliance roadmap that scales without slowing innovation. Qualifications - Extremely interested in, excited about, and familiar with modern AI infrastructure. - Senior engineering leader who still goes hands-on when needed. - Experience architecting, building, and operating infrastructure or developer platforms. - Strong systems thinker with sound judgment under ambiguity. - Comfortable in zero-to-one and one-to-scale environments. - Credible with customers, partners, and senior technical stakeholders. - Experience with reliability-critical systems (infra, SRE, networking). - Exposure to enterprise security and compliance. • Lead a newly formed Platform & Developer Experience organization, composed of senior engineers from across the company. • Set the technical and product direction, remove friction, and deliver platform services and developer tooling that measurably accelerate engineering velocity and reliability. • Deliver highly scalable, performant, and resilient services used across the org; own infrastructure-related code, an internal chat/voice application, monitoring, and performance optimization. • Provide exceptional internal tooling to accelerate engineering velocity: developer environments, AI automation, frameworks and tools, and testing infrastructure.

• Lead Precision Defense engineering teams to transform NodeZero’s insights into high-signal defenses • Own and scale the engineering teams behind NodeZero’s Precision Defense capabilities • Build and lead an organization that drives precise detection, tripwires, and validation of defenses • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective product ownership and technical direction
