Role Description Meta is our largest and most important paid channel. We’re currently spending in the mid five figures per day, growing fast, and preparing to expand. Your job is to help us scale that spend profitably, without losing control of CAC, creative learnings, reporting discipline, or execution. We’re looking for a Senior Performance Marketer whose mission is to drive elite Meta performance. That means you live in Ads Manager, own CAC, and treat every dollar like it’s your own. Meta is your primary sandbox. Google/YouTube is run by an external agency; you’ll bring a sharp, performance‑driven lens so all channels row in the same direction. If you love living in Ads Manager, breaking creatives, and bending CAC down with hard data, this is your role. You will not be “the ads person.” You will be the owner of paid growth. You’ll work directly with our co-founder who stays deep in-platform alongside you to start. Early on, you’ll ramp into the accounts: campaign structure, creative library, compliance constraints, reporting cadence, and how each market behaves. As trust builds, you’ll take on increasing ownership of the Meta operation. Day to day, this means: - Planning spend - Structuring campaigns - Optimising toward profit-aware ROAS/CAC targets - Translating performance signals into clear creative briefs with our team - Running the kind of operating cadence that makes your work easy to trust This is not a strategy-only role. The work today is hands-on craft inside Meta. Over time, the ceiling is much higher: you’ll help build the Meta media buying pod, expanding into adjacent channels like Google, YouTube, and programmatic. Great performance means: - CAC holds or improves as spend scales - Weekly pacing runs like clockwork - New markets launch on time without hurting core market performance - Leadership trusts your forecasts more than their own intuition This is a full-time, fully remote role, and you'll work async in the timezone of your choice - as long as you're around for team calls (early CST). Qualifications - Proven scale on Meta (hands-on): You've personally operated Meta accounts at 100k+/month spend for DTC ecom brands. - 5+ years of Meta-specific depth: You know the platform's quirks, its policy landmines, its bidding behavior, its measurement nuances. - DTC consumer scale-up background: You've grown brands, not maintained them. - Structured operator behaviors: Forecasting, weekly reporting cadence, explicit decision rules, written planning. - Creative fluency: You think in concepts, hooks, formats, and angles - not just metrics. - Startup intensity: You measure yourself in outcomes, not hours, but the outcomes here require real intensity. Requirements - Meta performance end‑to‑end - Operate the Meta ad accounts day‑to‑day across our core brand and new offers. - Account structure, campaign builds, audience strategy, bidding, budget pacing, daily optimization. - Build and execute structured testing roadmaps (hooks, angles, offers, LPs). - Work hand-in-hand with our cofounder to translate platform signal into briefs. - Generate and test winning concepts for statics, UGC, and video. - Review and challenge Google/YouTube agency performance weekly. - Run a weekly rhythm: plan → execute → review → re‑plan. - Conduct morning / mid‑day / end‑of‑day checks when scaling (6–7 days/week). - New-channel expansion (over time). - Team building (over time). Benefits - Base + performance‑based upside tied directly to CAC and profitable spend. - Target range $120k–$300k+ total compensation, depending on experience and performance. - Top performers will be pushed toward the high end of the range.
