Job Description
Brand & Creative, Senior Manager
PointFive
Brand & Creative, Senior Manager Location Boston Address Boston, Massachusetts Employment Type Full time Location Type Hybrid Department Marketing Management Compensation - $165K – $180K • Offers Equity The role This is a generalist creative seat with real ownership. You'll own how PointFive looks, sounds visually, and shows up in the world — across the website, ads, social, product marketing, events, sales decks, and whatever else the next quarter throws at us. You'll work directly with the CMO and a small, senior marketing team of 6 people. No layers. No briefs that take a week to approve. If you've got taste and conviction, you'll get to use both. What you'll actually do Brand. You'll be the keeper and evolver of the PointFive visual identity — the system, the components, the rules, and (importantly) when to break them. We just relaunched our positioning and the brand needs to grow into it. Creative for ads and campaigns. We run integrated campaigns (Cloud Cost Casino, DeepWaste, Beyond Tagging, and more coming). You'll concept, design, and produce the static and motion creative that runs across LinkedIn, paid social, OOH at events, and anywhere else we show up. Website. Our site lives on Vercel + GitHub. You'll design new pages and components, work with Claude Code to ship them, and treat the site like the always-on flagship asset it is. This is your chance to break the mould for creative website design. Design direction. For everything else — pitch decks, event booths, swag, partner co-marketing, it’s yours to direct, to produce, to outsource, whatever is the most efficient and coolest way to get it done. Animation and motion. Loops, product UI motion, social cutdowns, hero brand videos. You don't need to be a full 3D artist, but if you like playing with Higgsfield, After Effects, or any other platform to just make cool s*7t then we welcome it with open arms. I mantra is … just don’t do boring B2B. What we're looking for - 5+ years doing this work, ideally with time inside a brand-led B2B or consumer company (not just agency). But you could be agency too, it usually means you’ve worked on a lot of cool stuff. - A portfolio that shows range — brand systems, performance creative, and motion — and a clear point of view - Native fluency with AI creative tools. Claude (including Claude Design), Midjourney, Runway, Sora, Veo, ElevenLabs, Seedance, Suno, Figma Make — whatever's working this month. You should be using these daily, not curious about them. - Expert in Figma, or whatever tool you use to make things :) Maybe Figma isn’t your jam and you’ve already moved on. It doesn’t matter to us, it’s your domain. - You are a cultural fit. This is the most important part. We are a small team, we are fun (we think), we don’t do cubicles and ‘this isn’t my job’. We want to be daring, different, and enjoy what we do. We spend 3 days in the office because we like each others company, so ideally you are in Boston where are marketing team sits, or you are in our rival city, NY. You better be cool if you live there, because it’s definitely a Bean Town vs Big Apple kind of vibe. - The producer gene: you can run a project, hit a date, and manage external freelancers when we need to scale up - Taste. The thing we can't teach. What this isn't - A pure designer role where you wait for briefs. You'll generate ideas, not just polish them. You don’t want, you wake up and think, I’m going to build something cool today. - A role where AI is a topic for the future. We're an AI-native marketing function and you'll be expected to operate that way from week one. Our CMO is looking for excellence in AI. Not to cut corners, but because it’s fun to learn new ways and he wants each person to be a leader in their field. Even celebrated on a stage on somewhere for outstanding creative or visual UX. BTW not everything has to be award winning it’s just fun to dream of getting trophies. Logistics This role is based in Boston (alongside the marketing team). This is a hybrid role in office 3x a week - we like being in the room together for the parts of the job that need it. Benefits & Perks: - Base Salary Range: $165,000 - $180,000 plus equity. - Health, dental, vision (yes, all three!), equity in something early-stage and exciting, generous PTO, 401K, meal & commuter benefits, a team that will actually challenge you and much more.
