Role Description Non-Instructional Student Support focuses on fostering a high touch approach to educational support and a commitment and desire to provide the best experience possible for students and families including: - Empowering families to increase their involvement and assist in their student’s education - Facilitating engagement in school activities - Providing clear and consistent communication regarding school expectations and activities This remote Engagement Ambassador position is responsible for supporting student engagement through: - Regular student conferences/meetings - Parent contact - Coaching to address both academic and social-emotional needs The position will have an assigned caseload of students with the purpose of removing barriers to academic success. This is a full-time REMOTE position. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 8-5 or as defined by the school. Qualifications - High School Diploma - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent problem-solving skills - Organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities - Customer service focus - Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced work environment - Experience coordinating academically oriented clubs and extra-curricular activities - Familiarity with the online learning experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); Web proficiency - Ability to travel 20% of the time - Ability to clear required background check Requirements - Oversee a caseload of students assigned as their main point of contact with the school - Serve as a liaison between students, Learning Coaches and teachers and/or administration - Contact late starting or missing students by phone and work to quickly ensure a Strong Start at the school - Monitor academic progress and activity of students on their caseload - Initiate meaningful, recurring contact by phone with students and their Learning Coach - Initiate larger student support interventions when a student begins showing signs of academic decline as determined by course grades, log-ins, course activity and missing assignments - Arrange support conferences as needed to address performance concerns - Assist students in creating plans to get back on track - Provide outreach, training, and support to families who respond to Students First Check In surveys - Increase professional knowledge and skills by attending required staff meetings; participating in school and K12 sponsored Professional Development, and seeking other professional learning opportunities - Participate in State testing as required Benefits - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties - This position is virtual

Role Description The Ambassador at Alignment Health serves as an invaluable aid in helping consumers and members understand the company, its value propositions as well as its unique benefits and services. - Assists the Sales and Community Outreach Representatives at community events and activities, sales meetings, and member meetings. - Talks about Alignment’s products and programs and introduces the target audience to Alignment’s unique value proposition. - Assists in creating brand awareness, generating leads, and driving plan enrollment. - Acts as the "face" of the Alignment brand at formal events and in public interactions. - Establishes networks and relationships to market the brand via word-of-mouth marketing.
