Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Planner to support procurement operations for equipment and materials used in PV, HV, and BESS power system construction projects. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining project-specific supply plans that guide purchasing and inventory movement, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials to project sites. The Supply Planner will manage a portfolio of projects within an operational region, serving as the primary procurement liaison to cross-functional project teams. This includes: - Coordinating with engineering to finalize Bills of Materials (BOMs) - Aligning material delivery schedules with project timelines - Updating supply plans in response to design or site changes The Supply Planner plays a critical role in translating engineering and scheduling inputs into actionable procurement strategies. This role is fully remote. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process. Qualifications - 2–4 years of experience in materials management (procurement, planning, estimating, or similar) for utility-scale PV, BESS, and/or HV projects. - 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply planning roles, or an advanced academic degree in a relevant field. - Strong proficiency in ERP systems, including report creation and supply plan management. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. - Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management. - Familiarity with industry best practices in purchasing, supply chain planning, and project execution. • PO Routing & Prep-Center Operations: Build out and operate the system that routes each purchase order to the best of our four nationwide prep centers, factoring in vendor ship-from location, cost, speed, and capacity. • Prep-center communication: Manage all communication and file uploads with our four prep centers — shipping plans, packing/prep instructions, box content files, and follow-ups. • Inbound coordination: Coordinate inbound shipments from vendors who ship from different locations across the country, ensuring each PO lands at the right facility with complete and accurate documentation. • Freight & Vendor Coordination: Communicate directly with freight brokers to arrange, track, and troubleshoot shipments between vendors and prep centers. • Supplier comms: Communicate directly with key suppliers — including Soccer Zone and GMA Sales — on order logistics, ship-from details, and timing. • Reconciliation: Own and improve freight invoice reconciliation — auditing carrier-billed amounts against quoted rates, flagging discrepancies, and tightening the process so it runs cleaner and more automatically over time. • Systems & Automation: Continuously look for ways to automate, streamline, and remove manual steps from every workflow you touch.
