Role Description Our organic search channel is already our best-performing acquisition source, and the next phase of our growth depends on our ability to produce great content that stands out. We’re looking for a talented, passionate content creator to help build and drive this content engine, in both B2B and B2C markets. This role is for someone who already has some content experience and is ready to learn how content strategy connects to business outcomes. You'll work closely with our Head of Marketing, working together to build a content engine tied to measurable B2B and B2C growth goals. You’ll have a lot of autonomy and the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of our marketing. You'll get real responsibility, real creative freedom, and someone senior in your corner helping you connect the dots between great content and business outcomes. - Content creation: - Blog posts and SEO content - Video content - Social media content (starting with LinkedIn) - Graphics and visual assets - Help docs and guides - Email copy - Repurposing content across platforms - Brand-building and strategy: - Develop a content strategy built around our customer journey - Shape and document our brand voice and guidelines - Analytics and reporting: - Setting clear goals for your content - Measuring impact to understand what works and what doesn’t - Reporting on this to the Head of Marketing - Adapting content to improve results Qualifications - 3-5 years in a content-related role - Experience creating content for LinkedIn (specifically) and at least one other social network - Strong writing skills across formats - Some design and video experience - Based in South Africa - A portfolio to share that showcases your work across formats (including video, writing, and design) Requirements - You're a passionate content creator who’s ready to bring more strategic thinking to your marketing career. - You genuinely enjoy the craft of content. - You have either worked in education/ed-tech or find it interesting. - You're comfortable working with a lot of creative latitude and having the freedom and trust to make content decisions. - You take feedback well, and you're excited about learning and experimenting. - You’re okay with handling some of the unglamorous sides of content work too: reformatting content, updating old posts, scheduling, sourcing images.
