• Perform deep‑dive analysis of compensation and benefits data to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and cost‑saving opportunities. • Develop recurring and ad‑hoc reports, dashboards, and financial models to support leadership decision‑making. • Analyze merit cycles, incentives, benefit utilization, enrollment trends, and overall total rewards spend. • Configure, support, and maintain compensation and benefits plans within Workday. • Perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and alignment across systems and vendors. • Execute and validate mass data loads using EIBs and Workday reporting tools. • Participate in external compensation and benefits surveys. • Analyze market data to assess competitiveness and recommend adjustments to pay structures and benefit design. • Support pay equity reviews and structure modeling efforts. • Monitor benefit utilization trends and vendor reporting to evaluate effectiveness of health, wellbeing, and retirement programs. • Assess claim trends and cost drivers in partnership with vendors, brokers, and internal stakeholders. • Support annual processes including merit reviews, incentive planning, and open enrollment. • Create analytical models, dashboards, and supporting documentation for leadership and employee communications. • Provide post‑cycle analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement. • Ensure compensation and benefits programs comply with applicable federal and state regulations, including FLSA, ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics or related field
- Years of experience: 3-5 years of experience in compensation, benefits or HR analytics.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, Pivot Tables, and financial modeling.
- Proven Workday expertise, including Core/Advanced Compensation and Benefits modules, reporting, audits, and EIB uploads.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to derive logic from incomplete or messy datasets.
- Experience creating clear, visually compelling dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of compensation structures, benefits programs, and total rewards cost drivers.
- Ability to translate complex technical data into concise, executive‑ready insights (“smart brevity”).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive employee and financial information.
