Hardware Engineer

• Support prototype board testing, hardware validation, board bring-up, debugging, failure analysis, and QA activities. • Work with hardware designers to debug board-level issues, verify hardware fixes, and support ECO changes during EVT/DVT/PVT validation. • Perform failure analysis for failed or returned boards and document findings. • Prepare engineering test reports, maintain board test records, and support mass production readiness reviews. • Manage prototype board tracking and shipping logistics. • Work with cross-functional teams and contract manufacturers on issue investigation, quality improvement, and production support.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in hardware testing, PCBA testing, board bring-up, or product validation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to read schematics, BOMs, and PCB layout files.
- Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation skills, and strong attention to detail.
- Strong team player with good collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong soldering and rework skills.
