Product Manager – Platform

Blue River Technology

• Own strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for one or more Platform offerings or cross-cutting capabilities • Build tight feedback loops with program teams and engineers to understand real constraints in the field • Translate problems into crisp requirements, success metrics, and prioritized backlogs; make explicit tradeoffs across speed, reuse, reliability, and customization • Partner with engineering and design to ship iteratively—APIs, tooling, workflows, and user experiences that teams adopt and keep using • Drive onboarding, documentation, enablement, and rollout plans; measure adoption and unblock teams during integration • Set the bar for production readiness (reliability, observability, supportability, and backward compatibility) • Coordinate dependencies across Platform and program teams; reduce duplication and converge on shared building blocks where it matters • Define and track product metrics and use them to drive priorities and investment decisions • Keep stakeholders aligned through clear narratives, status updates, decisions, and risk assessments, especially when priorities conflict or timelines shift.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager
  • Deep understanding of robotics, autonomous systems, and machine learning technologies
  • Familiarity with the areas of perception, environmental understanding, machine learning, path planning, and actuation
  • Demonstrated experience as a product leader in designing, developing, or managing embedded technologies and software solutions for edge devices or autonomous systems
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Role Description As a Principal Product Manager at SimSpace, you will help define the future of cybersecurity and AI readiness. This role is strategic in leading the development of our platform to enable organizations to train defenders, evaluate security controls, rehearse missions, test operational resilience, and validate emerging AI and agentic systems under realistic conditions. In this role, you will define and drive platform capabilities that support AI training, testing, evaluation, and validation within realistic cyber environments. The role requires a product leader who can operate at the intersection of AI systems, cybersecurity, enterprise platform architecture, simulation, automation, and customer outcomes.
