Role Description Orbital is seeking an Instrument & Controls Engineer to provide technical support and oversight for heavy industrial instrumentation projects. This is a fully remote opportunity. - Review client requests for proposals and scopes of work. - Act as Orbital representative at bid walkdowns. - Prepare manhour estimates and proposals. - Lead instrumentation project engineering and develop contractor construction packages including: - Instrument datasheets - P&IDs - Equipment plans - Cable/conduit routing plans - Interconnecting wiring diagrams - Loop diagrams - Scopes of work - Coordinate with other engineers and designers as required to execute the scope for larger projects. - Review calculations and deliverables for completeness and accuracy prior to issuance to client. - Support regional business development initiatives as a technical resource. - Drive internal and external quality and design review meetings throughout the course of the project. - Develop, maintain and upgrade technical standards/specifications to be used on specific projects. - Complete all tasks in accordance with design and project execution procedures and guidelines as set forth in corporate Quality Management System. Qualifications - Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Systems or Industrial Engineering from an accredited university is required. - 7+ years of professional experience. - Familiar with process systems associated with the Midstream Oil & Gas, Refineries & Petrochemical, Power Generation industries. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SPI. - Knowledge and application of company department design and drafting standards. - Ability to recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly. - Interest in keeping updated knowledge in instrumentation and technology. Requirements - Knowledge and application of standards (ISA) that apply to instrumentation and controls. - Knowledge and application of the current version of the NFPA 70, National Electrical Code (NEC). - Proficient in reading, understanding and revising engineering drawings including P&ID’s and PFD’s. - Ability to produce specifications and data sheets for instrumentation, analyzers, and actuated valves. - Experience and knowledge to specify equipment required for control systems (PLC’s/DCS’s) and attend FAT/SAT for those equipment. Programming of PLC’s/DCS’s is not required for this position. - Ability to produce Cabinet Fabrication Drawings, Instrument Loop Diagrams, Logic diagrams, Instrument Installation Details, Control Schematics, etc. - Knowledge of schedule constraints and information requirements for the production of all Instrumentation deliverables. - Ability to develop construction cost estimates, detailed engineering schedules and man-hour estimates for small and medium size projects. - Ability to calculate tray and conduit fill and ability to route conduit and cable tray. - Availability for On-site assistance during startup and commissioning. • Create structural engineering plans, details, and calculations for renewable energy and substation projects. • Design concrete and steel foundations for project equipment to meet jurisdictional requirements at local, state, and federal levels across varying geotechnical conditions. • Perform design tasks on small projects or defined portions of larger projects. • Apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria; Engineer II roles apply these with increasing independence and judgment. • Acquire and apply knowledge of renewable energy system layouts and components such as modules, racking, inverters, and Balance of Systems (BOS). • Manage time efficiently across multiple concurrent projects. • Coordinate with project managers and internal stakeholders to align on scope, schedule, and expectations. • Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of engineering assignments. • Collaboratively use engineering judgment to resolve moderately complex design challenges with guidance from senior staff. • Ensure work complies with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes. • Receive direction on unconventional or complex problems and proposed solutions. • Receive a thorough review of completed work for application of sound professional judgment. • Perform additional duties as assigned or directed. • Perform essential duties, including meeting deliverables and deadlines.

• Review and develop mechanical designs with a focus on manufacturability • Apply DFM/DFA principles to improve part design, cost efficiency, and quality • Assist in refining designs based on manufacturing constraints and feedback • Prepare clear, production-ready engineering documentation • Support basic simulations or engineering checks using ANSYS or similar tools • Assist with tolerance analysis, material selection, and design assumptions • Help identify design risks and recommend improvements • Research and evaluate manufacturing processes (CNC machining, sheet metal, casting, molding, etc.) • Support decisions related to materials, finishes, and processes • Assist with supplier- and process-related research when required • Work closely with senior engineers on real client problems • Participate in virtual meetings with U.S.-based clients and internal teams • Communicate design intent, changes, and assumptions clearly in a remote setup • Contribute to improving internal engineering workflows and standards

Role Description L'expert technique s’assure du bon traitement des faits techniques par l’industriel et réalise l'entretien du référentiel technique applicable des aéronefs dont il a la charge et dans sa spécialité. Dans un souci de fiabilisation des matériels et d’optimisation de la maintenance, il participe à l’élaboration, la validation et le suivi des évolutions du porteur, des optionnels, des outillages et de la documentation associés. Le technicien participe à la surveillance des activités sous-traitées : - traitement des comptes-rendus de faits techniques (CRFT) ; - veille et analyse des consignes de navigabilité et documentation technique utilisateur/constructeur ; - analyse de la fiabilité. Qualifications - Bonnes connaissances aéronautiques, plus particulièrement dans le domaine des hélicoptères de manœuvre lourds. - Réelles compétences dans le domaine de l’expertise technique. - Capacités à travailler dans un environnement contrôlé. - Maîtrise des outils modernes de bureautique (ex. suite Office Microsoft). Requirements - Déplacements occasionnels sur site utilisateurs ou chez l’industriel. - Représentation de l’EET lors de différentes réunions. - Participation à l’élaboration des clauses techniques des marchés de soutien. - Suivi de la bonne exécution des marchés en vigueur.
