Operations Analyst

Role Description We are looking for an Operations Analyst to support data-driven business operations, optimize reporting processes, and help scale operational workflows through spreadsheet automation and process improvements. - Consolidate, maintain, and reconcile people-related operational data across multiple spreadsheets, systems, and reporting sources. - Prepare and update regular reports covering headcount, compensation, hiring, workforce planning, and other people-related metrics. - Ensure data accuracy and consistency by identifying discrepancies, validating inputs, and maintaining reliable reporting processes. - Partner with Finance, People Operations, and business stakeholders to support workforce planning, budgeting, and headcount tracking activities. - Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvements. - Build and maintain spreadsheet-based workflows using advanced Excel or Google Sheets functionality, including formulas, pivot tables, and automation tools. - Identify repetitive manual processes and gradually improve them through automation, AI tools, macros, and process optimization. - Create clear and actionable reports, dashboards, and summaries that support decision-making across the organization. - Contribute to the development and scaling of operational reporting processes as the company continues to grow. Qualifications - 1–3 years of experience in an analytical, operations, reporting, finance, accounting, or similar data-focused role. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and working with large datasets. - Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to working with data. - Comfortable performing repetitive analytical tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify inconsistencies, investigate data issues, and ensure data quality. - Interest in process improvement and automation; familiarity with AI tools, spreadsheet automation, macros, or workflow optimization is a strong plus. - Ability to learn complex reporting processes, understand data flows, and gradually improve existing workflows. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with Finance, People Operations, and other business stakeholders. - Ability to work within European time zones (CET). Requirements - Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. - Experience in consulting, audit, transaction services, or advisory environments (e.g. Big Four firms). - Exposure to workforce planning, headcount reporting, budgeting, compensation reporting, or people analytics. - Experience with spreadsheet automation, scripting, or reporting tools. - Recent graduates with outstanding academic performance and strong spreadsheet skills are also encouraged to apply. Role Description SAIC has an opening for a Cybersecurity Ops Analyst Sr. This position is located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee; however, SAIC is open to remote work for qualified candidates. This role is a senior analyst position on SAIC’s Cyber Incident Response Team within the Enterprise Security Operations Center. Reporting to the Manager of Defensive Cyber Operations, the Cybersecurity Ops Analyst Sr is responsible for supporting complex cybersecurity incident investigations, forensic log analysis, and response activities across the enterprise. Qualifications - Strong analytical skills - Experience in cybersecurity incident response - Knowledge of forensic analysis techniques - Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, and other security tools - Ability to communicate technical findings clearly Requirements - Take escalated cybersecurity cases and coordinate triage, investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery activities across affected systems, accounts, and environments. - Conduct incident investigations using forensic analysis, SIEM, EDR, endpoint, identity, email, network, cloud, and other enterprise security telemetry to determine scope, impact, root cause, and potential data exposure. - Coordinate approved remediation actions such as account disablement, session revocation, email purge, endpoint isolation, IP or URL blocking, access review, and other response actions needed to reduce risk and restore affected environments. - Develop clear investigative timelines, case narratives, evidence summaries, technical findings, and response documentation to support operational decision making and post-incident review. - Work laterally across the ESOC and cybersecurity organization to validate findings, communicate risk, coordinate response activity, and support timely incident resolution. - Identify detection gaps, control weaknesses, forensic visibility gaps, response gaps, and process improvement opportunities based on incident findings, case reviews, purple team activity, and tabletop exercises. - Support purple team exercises by validating alerts, reviewing adversary emulation activity, identifying visibility gaps, and helping convert findings into improved monitoring, investigation, and response procedures. - Lead tabletop exercises to validate response processes, escalation paths, communication workflows, analyst readiness, and cross-functional coordination. - Identify training gaps and provide training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to junior team members to strengthen investigative quality, technical capability, and operational consistency across the ESOC. - Create, maintain, and improve incident response playbooks, forensic investigation guides, case templates, escalation procedures, and operational documentation. - Support threat hunting and proactive analysis efforts based on observed incidents, emerging threats, forensic findings, and enterprise risk priorities. - Contribute to ESOC continuous improvement initiatives, including AI and automation, case management improvements, workflow refinement, documentation, and operational reporting. - Support the ESOC’s 24/7/365 operational needs as required to maintain continuity of coverage during high priority incidents or elevated tempo events. - Perform additional duties and support other operational tasks as assigned to meet mission and organizational needs. This role will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating all information provided within a loan file for compliance with applicable investor guidelines, regulations, and bank policies as well as coordinating with the originator, underwriter, and closer to get the loan to the closing table. - Validate and analyze income documentation. - Calculate income from paystubs and validate to W-2’s. - Calculate self-employed income. - Seek out additional documentation as needed to support the income used for qualification. - Address discrepancies. - Validate and analyze asset documentation provided. - Validate sufficient funds to close. - Validate required reserves. - Explain/remove inconsistent/large deposits. - Calculate asset value as required by applicable investor. - Perform initial appraisal review. - Complete the appraisal review form. - Seek corrections for issues and deficiencies. - Validate the appraisal to requirements. - Provide copy to borrower as required by regulations. - Validate ratio related debts. - Analyze credit report for accuracy.
