Role Description The Business Intelligence & Automation Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the in-situ end-to-end operational technology stack, including business intelligence platforms, data integration, reporting solutions, and Microsoft 365–based automation for a designated Business Unit. This role combines hands-on technical development with business analysis to ensure systems, workflows, and data architecture effectively support global operations and field teams. The analyst owns the continuous improvement and reliability of reporting and automation capabilities, integrates enterprise systems such as Salesforce, and ensures the scalability, security, and performance of the overall solution landscape for a designated Business Unit. In this role you can expect to: - Technology Stack Ownership & Architecture - Own the design, development, integration, and ongoing maintenance of the designated Business Unit’s operational technology stack, including: - Business intelligence and analytics platforms (Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, MicroStrategy, SQL-based data models) - Microsoft 365 automation solutions - Integrations with Salesforce and internal enterprise systems - Define and maintain system architecture, data flows, semantic models, and reporting structures - Partner with IT to align solutions with enterprise standards, security requirements, and long-term roadmap - Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and workflow designs - Process Automation & Workflow Development - Analyze and document business processes to identify automation and optimization opportunities - Design and implement workflows using Microsoft 365 tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Teams, Excel) - Establish automation standards and reusable components - Test, deploy, monitor, and support automated processes in production - Continuously enhance solutions based on business needs and performance metrics - Business Intelligence, Reporting & Data Management - Design, build, and maintain dashboards, datasets, and reports using: - Power BI and Microsoft Fabric - MicroStrategy - SQL - Develop and govern a structured reporting framework and report catalog - Integrate and manage data from multiple systems, including Salesforce - Stakeholder Enablement & Insight Delivery - Partner with global and field teams to define reporting and system requirements - Deliver insights, trends, and performance analysis to operational and executive stakeholders - Support field teams with report access, usability, and local reporting needs - Develop user guides, training materials, and process documentation - Drive adoption of new tools, reports, and automation capabilities - Governance, Security & Platform Reliability - Ensure platforms and automated processes comply with data security, privacy, and access-control standards - Support UAT, releases, and controlled production deployments - Monitor system performance, resolve defects, and manage technical debt - Maintain documentation and change records for system and reporting updates - Generate regular performance reports and metrics to demonstrate the impact of process automation on operational efficiency Qualifications - University degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, or similar) - Professional-level oral, written, and presentation skills in English - 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, and/or process automation, preferably in a services or consulting environment - Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand business processes, financial impact, KPIs, and performance metrics - Proven experience gathering and documenting business requirements, mapping data relationships, and collaborating with IT and business stakeholders - Solid business acumen with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities - Structured and organized working style, able to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment - Comfortable handling complex scenarios, production issues, and escalations with sound judgment - Customer-focused mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality results under tight or changing deadlines - Ability to work independently and as part of multi-disciplinary, global teams - Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to: - Align automation and reporting initiatives with business objectives - Communicate progress, results, and insights to leadership - Translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences - Broad technology awareness, including Microsoft 365 tools, Power BI, automation platforms, and enterprise reporting solutions (e.g., MicroStrategy) - Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision while maintaining high productivity and quality standards - Willingness to participate in virtual meetings outside normal business hours when required
