DVM Selections Reviewer
Texas A&M University System
Role Description The DVM Selections Reviewer will review applicants to the TAMU College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences and utilize standard rubrics to assign scores to each candidate packet. - Applicant Packet Review: Reviews each component of applicant packets using a standardized scoring rubric; maintains strict confidentiality, follows FERPA laws. Debriefs after the process is completed. - Discrepancy Resolution: Resolves any review flags or discrepancies in packet review with the co-reviewer. - Training Activities: Develops mastery of the rubrics used for assessing applicants; attends training regarding packet review; learns scoring rubric for each portion of the application. - Other Duties: Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) - Master's degree or higher (or equivalent years of experience) - Knowledge of FERPA - Experience using a standardized rubric in previous positions. Requirements - Must be detail-oriented, able to follow a standard rubric, and work independently. - This is a remote position, and the applicant must have a reliable internet connection and computer access. Additional Information - Machines or equipment used in the performance of essential duties: Computer (35 hours per week); phone collaboration (1 hour per week). - This position is security sensitive. - This position requires compliance with state and federal laws/codes and Texas A&M University System/TAMU policies, regulations, rules and procedures. - All tasks and job responsibilities must be performed safely without injury to self or others in compliance with System and University safety requirements.
