• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for Australian clients using Xero • Undertaking daily tasks in the Xero cloud accounting system • Sending client expense invoices to ReceiptBank/Hubdoc for electronic processing • Processing of invoices from ReceiptBank/Hubdoc into Xero • Preparation of expense pay runs, including the provision of bank ABA file • Processing of unreconciled bank transactions to the general ledger • Raising client sales invoices as instructed • Preparation and processing of wages, including maintenance of employee records • Preparation and processing of employer superannuation obligations • Preparation of manual journals in Xero • Processing of payroll data electronically to the ATO under Single Touch Payroll requirements • Client debtor management, through the provision of automatic reminders and statements • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including the provision of month-end journals • Preparation of financial reports from Xero • Undertaking of any processing with third-party integrated apps • Any other data entry requirements as requested
Job Requirements
- Intermediate/advanced MS Excel working skills
- Experience using (or if no experience familiarity with) cloud-based accounting Add On tools such as Dext, Deputy
- Strong communication skills
- Thorough attention to detail
- Strong customer focus
- With Australian accounting experience as a requirement
