AI Tooling Engineer

• Own the team’s AI productivity layer: the internal tooling, agentic workflows, accelerators, and documentation that let a small, AI-first team move with outsized leverage • Maintain and evolve internal AI tooling: Claude Code, Cursor, custom MCPs, hooks, slash commands, and skill repos • Build Hub-internal accelerators: codegen skills, scaffolding tools, and a shared recipes repository • Coordinate and drive agent development across the squads (cross-team, technical lead role without people management) • Maintain documentation optimized for AI consumption: internal team docs and the external agent-readiness surface • Provide light cross-squad harmonization on agent-related architectural decisions

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, including platform or internal-tools roles
  • Strong AI and MCP exposure, has built or maintained agent-augmented workflows in production
  • Devtools instinct, has built internal tooling at scale before
  • Comfortable coordinating across multiple squads without people-management authority
  • Strong written documentation skills
  • Open-source or applied-AI ecosystem contributions are a plus
  • Skilled in AI-assisted coding and Claude Code workflows, comfortable relying on them to move faster and better
  • Reliable, autonomous, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
