Wilson Language training is growing and is looking to hire Business Development Representative/Sales Support (Temporary Positions). Job Summary: The primary function of this Sales Support/BDR (Business Development Representative) role is to respond to inbound leads, qualify opportunities, and schedule meetings for the sales team, while also assisting Inside and Outside Sales Representatives with quoting, purchase order support, customer follow-up, and general sales support functions during peak business seasons. In addition, this role will support proactive business development efforts through dedicated, strategic, and focused outbound prospecting to potential and existing customers. This includes identifying new opportunities, nurturing customer relationships, and helping drive pipeline growth through outbound calls, emails, and targeted outreach campaigns. Essential Job Functions: - Evaluate and qualify leads based on specific criteria, ensuring they align with the company's target market and have a high potential for conversion. - Schedule meetings or product demonstrations between qualified prospects and the sales team to further discuss solutions and close sales - Collaborate with the sales team by providing detailed lead information, following up on outreach efforts, and ensuring a smooth transition from prospecting to closing. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions, activity tracking, and status in the company’s CRM - Support Inside and Outside Sales teams with administrative and operational tasks including quoting and PO support. - Provide general sales team support during peak business periods, special projects, conferences and back-to-school season. Minimum Requirements/Skills: - Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Support, Sales Account Executive or similar role. - Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls). - Self-starter with ability to set goals and tasks. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. - Ability to build strong relationships. - Tactful and mature demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with diverse personalities. - Exceptional persuasive verbal and written communication skills with excellent telephone skills and a high level of attention to detail. - Strong work ethic and desire to perform quality work. - Fearless, unwilling to fail mentality, optimist. - Customer focused and highly responsive. - Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment. - Strong computer skills to include MS Office and CRM software. - Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts) - Understanding of sales performance metrics - Ability to deliver engaging presentations. Education or Certification: - Associate degree in any field and two years of relevant sales experience or experience in a BDR role. - Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field a plus Wilson has identified the anticipated pay range for this role based on the many factors that we consider in defining compensation levels for our roles, including market data, and internal equity considerations.
