You'll collaborate on media-rich web experiences for Zillow's 3D Home and Interactive Floor Plan products, working closely with our world-class computer vision and machine learning teams. As a senior developer, you'll influence architectural decisions, craft exceptional user experiences, drive feature development across teams, and pioneer groundbreaking innovations in real estate technology. Together, we'll create a more immersive, convenient, and seamless way for people to explore and engage with listings. Qualifications - Deep JavaScript knowledge and hands-on experience with React and Redux. - GraphQL, Computer Graphics, Three.js, React-Three-Fiber. - Strong knowledge of HTTP basics: caching, response codes, headers, cookies, sessions. - Strong CSS knowledge: able to layout a page, use and customize component libraries, and discuss media queries, flex vs grid, etc. - Team leadership and mentoring skills. - Ability to work closely with other engineers and disciplines, notably individuals in BE roles, product, and design. Requirements - Heavy React + Redux development; in-depth Typescript experience. - Three.js/WebGL and React-Three-Fiber framework development experience. - Apollo Client / GraphQL working knowledge. - CSS knowledge. - Node.js experience. - Knowledge beyond application development; familiarity with infrastructure issues such as Gitlab pipelines, relevant AWS services (S3, Cloudfront, etc.), webpack, code splitting, Sentry, etc. - Focus on web performance, monitoring, server-side rendering, and accessibility. - Experience with tests primarily written in Cypress / Playwright. - This role is categorized as a teleworker position; employees may live anywhere in Mexico with availability to travel to Mexico City.
