Allied Benefit Systems

Role Description The Product Analyst is a key support role within the product management team. They will be responsible for the product management team’s intake, assessment, tracking, and organization of requests and enhancements to Allied’s product portfolio. They’ll work closely with product managers and leadership to help maintain momentum and allow the team to deliver on key strategies. This role will also assist the team with research, documentation, and may fill in for others to help support our growing team. Essential Functions - Identify, assess, and track the progress of product-related requests. - Collaborate closely with leadership and other members of the product management team on team priorities. - Research and gather information necessary to assist with responses to product inquiries. - Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining product documentation. - Work with product leadership to establish structure for product documentation and organization of product portfolio. - Assist in producing and maintaining product training materials, including external user guides, product descriptions, and internal reference guides. - Support coordination with marketing on the creation of product collateral. - Collaborate and develop relationships with internal teams including operations, sales, account management, marketing, and others. - Help assess new product opportunities and partnerships, as needed. - Support product management team with initiatives and special projects, as needed. - Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. - At least 3 years of relevant experience in product/portfolio management or similar role. - Project management skills a plus. - Prior experience in health insurance industry strongly preferred. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives. - Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and projects. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Physical Demands This is a standard desk role requiring extended sitting and computer work. Description We are hiring a Product Owner II to lead product ownership for SIU / Fraud capabilities with a near-term focus on Major Case within Lumen. This role sits at the center of business strategy, user workflow design, and technology delivery, translating investigative needs into clear priorities, driving tradeoff decisions, and shaping capabilities that improve investigator effectiveness, delivery quality, and business outcomes. It is a high-leverage role for someone who can operate across ambiguity, influence decisions across stakeholders, and turn complex fraud and investigation problems into usable products. Lead the strategy and execution for SIU software product capabilities that improve fraud detection, investigative effectiveness, and operational decision quality across multiple business lines. Own a complex product space that includes cross-team coordination, dependency management, and roadmap tradeoffs across data, workflow, analytics, and third-party integrations. Partner closely with engineering, data science, operations, claims leadership, and external vendors to deliver measurable outcomes in fraud mitigation, investigator productivity, compliance, and platform scalability. This role is accountable not only for backlog quality and delivery execution, but also for establishing decision frameworks, sequencing investments, and aligning stakeholders around a coherent SIU capability strategy. Success requires balancing immediate needs with longer-term platform health, model performance, regulatory constraints, and portfolio-level priorities. The Product Owner II influences outcomes across squads and partner teams through structured prioritization, clear communication, and disciplined tradeoff management Key Responsibilities: - Own and prioritize the software product backlog for SIU / Fraud capabilities, with emphasis on Major Case and adjacent investigation workflows within Lumen. - Partner with SIU business leaders, engineering, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to define product outcomes, translate needs into epics and user stories, and make scope and tradeoffs explicit. - Lead product discovery and delivery for complex workflow, data, and user experience problems, ensuring releases are aligned to business value, operational needs, and technical feasibility. - Maintain alignment across squads and stakeholders by clarifying priorities, dependencies, risks, and release decisions. - Represent the voice of the user and the business in Agile delivery, while helping the team stay focused on the highest-value work. - Contribute to roadmap thinking beyond immediate sprint execution by connecting tactical delivery to longer-term capability evolution across SIU / Fraud.
