Policy & Impact Quantification Intern

Role Description We are seeking a highly analytical Intern to join our Policy & Forecasting team to bridge the gap between legislative shifts and financial modelling. Reporting to the Director of US Forecasting, you will play a critical role in monitoring healthcare policy updates and quantifying their potential impacts on our business over the summer months. You will work closely with key stakeholders in Policy, Market Access and Finance to ensure our impact assumptions remain up to date and accurate. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply quantitative rigor to real-world policy challenges in a fast-paced biopharmaceutical environment. Your work will directly contribute to the strategic agility of the U.S. business. Primary Responsibilities - Monitor legislative and regulatory updates to identify potential impacts on forecasting models. - Quantify financial and operational effects of policy changes using data-driven methodologies. - Perform sensitivity analysis in Excel to support forecasting team assumptions. - Translate complex qualitative policy regulations into measurable quantitative data points. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate impact assessments. - Prepare summary reports to communicate policy-driven financial risks and opportunities. Qualifications - Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Health Economics, Public Policy, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. - Advanced proficiency in Excel including financial modeling and pivot tables. - Experience building and maintaining data visualizations in Power BI. - Strong foundation in quantitative analysis and data modeling. Requirements - No travel required. - This is a 100% remote position. Benefits - The pay rate for this role is $34/hr. - An intern’s pay will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. - We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
