Position Summary The Partnership Development Manager is a member of the Growth Team, supporting GlobalGiving’s ambitions to grow the number of donors and diversity of partnerships globally by reaching new markets and industry segments, while also deepening our engagement and reach in areas of historical strength. More specifically, the Partnership Development Manager is responsible for lead generation, prospect qualification, opportunity advancement, and closing. The successful candidate will have a growth mindset, be motivated by mission and metrics, have a broad understanding of the philanthropy and CSR sectors, and have strong customer cultivation skills. The role reports to the Director of Partnership Development. Primary Responsibilities Pipeline Development, Prospecting, and Management - Engage in regular research and data mining to surface prospects using iWave, WealthEngine, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, internal donor data, external databases, and other sources. - Scan media and social channels for prospects and recommend strategies for approach. - Engage in the market, e.g., conference and event attendance, to promote GlobalGiving’s brand and value proposition and to cultivate key contacts and generate leads. - Prioritize prospects for assignment and activation. - Monitor Zendesk and other inbound new business channels to assess and respond in a timely manner. - Own multi-channel outreach design and testing (email, LinkedIn, phone) in coordination, leveraging Salesforce and HubSpot features; ensure playbooks and cadences are documented and optimized. - Manage a portfolio of strategic prospects and early-stage opportunities for discovery and qualification. Opportunity Management and Closing - Prepare discovery materials, proposals, budgets, and briefing materials to support sales opportunities for potential partnerships and to assist leadership with growth initiatives. - Manage a diverse pipeline of opportunities that reflect the range of services and offerings available through GlobalGiving. - Participate in key prospect and partner meetings and engagements as initiated or requested. - Engage deeply and cross-functionally for prospect and opportunity advancement. - Deliver a close rate and revenue generation that reflect expectations for the role and tenure in the role, as well as support annual new business targets. - Manage giving-page builds, ensuring QA, timely launches, and clear handoffs to Partnership Managers. Data and Activity Management, Reporting and Analysis - Center all relationships, activities, and data management in CRM according to standard operational expectations. - Ensure timely entry and updates to ensure accurate and current visibility into work and workflows. - Work with the Business Intelligence Manager for the production of dashboards and reports and corresponding analysis of key progress indicators and other operational and performance metrics. Cross-functional program & project leadership - Project-manage cross-team efforts, including disaster/rapid-response. Coordinate resources, timelines, and stakeholder communication. - Project manage and execute ad hoc one-time corporate giving opportunities coming from inbound requests. Typical deliverables - Team-managed, repeatable prospecting programs and oversight of business management operation systems. SQL pipelines. - Weekly/biweekly pipeline and objectives and key results (OKR) progress dashboards. - Tailored proposals, executive briefs, and RFP responses. - Prospecting calls and email communications with potential donors - Operationalized giving pages and charitable product launches with playbooks. - Impact reports and partner stewardship materials. - Project plans and after-action reviews for cross-functional campaigns and disaster responses. #JT26 Requirements Required Qualifications For our team to be a great fit for you, the following qualifications should resonate with you: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. - 6+ years of combined experience in business development, corporate philanthropy/CSR/ESG, sales, or fundraising. - Proven track record of owning prospecting programs, pipeline generation, and advancing corporate partnerships to close. - Deep CRM fluency (Salesforce preferred) and outreach/engagement tools (HubSpot preferred) with a history of leveraging tools and data to support prospecting and sales motions. - Strong analytical skills; experience building dashboards and producing actionable BI (Metabase, Looker, Excel). - Excellent written and verbal communication — able to craft executive-level proposals and briefing materials. - Demonstrated project management skills, including scoping, coordinating stakeholders, and tracking deliverables. - Commitment to Race, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (REDI) and community-led principles. Preferred Qualifications In addition, the ideal candidate would also have some or all of the following qualifications: - Salesforce and/or HubSpot (CRM), Zendesk (customer service), iWave, WealthEngine, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Metabase/Looker, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and internal giving page builder/CMS. - Familiarity with email marketing platforms and campaign science (HubSpot, SendGrid, A/B testing). - Experience with disaster/rapid-response fundraising programs. - Comfortable using wealth screening, prospecting tools (iWave, WealthEngine), and converting insight into outreach strategy. - Comfortable acting autonomously and taking initiative in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. Salary & benefits Salary range: $70,000 – $90,000 (DOE). Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute the partner strategy to support company growth objectives - Identify, recruit, onboard, and enable strategic partners, including resellers, system integrators, managed service providers, technology partners, and consulting firms - Build and maintain strong executive and working-level relationships with partner organizations - Create joint business plans with partners, including revenue targets, pipeline goals, marketing initiatives, and solution development priorities - Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive partner-led and partner-influenced opportunities - Enable partners with training, tools, messaging, and sales support to position and sell the cloud platform effectively - Monitor partner performance through KPIs such as sourced pipeline, closed revenue, certifications, and adoption metrics - Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure alignment on commercial terms, business expectations, and mutual success plans - Support co-marketing activities, events, and campaigns to increase market awareness and partner engagement - Provide market feedback and partner insights to internal teams to improve products, programs, and competitive positioning Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, marketing, or a related field - 5+ years of experience in partner management, channel sales, business development, or alliances, ideally in cloud, SaaS, or enterprise technology - Strong understanding of cloud platform ecosystems and indirect go-to-market models - Proven track record of building and scaling successful partner relationships that drive revenue - Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and technical teams - Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to manage complex stakeholder environments - Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills - Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with CRM and partner management tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, PRM platforms, or similar systems - Fluent in German and English Preferred Qualifications - Experience in cloud infrastructure, platform services, SaaS, or digital transformation partnerships - Knowledge of hyperscaler ecosystems such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud - Experience managing global or regional partners across multiple markets - Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable partner strategies Success Measures - Growth in partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline - Achievement of partner-driven revenue targets - Number and quality of active strategic partners - Partner enablement, certifications, and engagement levels - Execution of joint business plans and go-to-market initiatives - Partner satisfaction and long-term relationship strength Additional Information - You will be working in the European Union to meet our customers' data security and privacy requirements. - Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.
