Role Description Ready to bring walls to life across Houston? We are seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Houston-based Account Manager to lead residential sales growth in the Houston, TX and Louisiana territory. This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional who thrives on building relationships, growing accounts, and delivering best-in-class service. You'll be the go-to expert for our customers – from designers and decorators to builders and retailers – representing our portfolio of high-quality wallcovering brands. - Achieve assigned sales and profitability targets across your territory - Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with designers, decorators, retailers, and builders - Develop and execute a strategic plan that fuels sales growth and customer retention - Act as a true brand ambassador, delivering exceptional service and representing the quality of the York Wallcoverings portfolio - Partner with Customer Service and internal teams to continuously improve the customer experience - Use reporting tools and insights to identify opportunities and drive results - Deliver compelling product presentations to clients and their customers - Prospect new designers and accounts, signing them up with the appropriate product book plans - Maintain daily touchpoints with clients to understand needs and provide value - Report back on market insights, product opportunities, and gaps to fuel innovation Qualifications - Proven experience in outside sales, account management, or business development – preferably in design, home décor, or building materials - Strong presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to connect with a wide range of clients - Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities - A passion for design and a customer-first mindset - Located in Houston and comfortable with travel throughout the defined territory (Houston and Louisiana) - Self-starter who thrives in a remote, performance-driven environment

What You’ll Accomplish: We have an opening for a Key Account Manager to join our Canadian sales team. This dynamic junior role is responsible for executing a growth plan that aligns the Company strategy within the regional account channel. This role will have particular emphasis on expanding and establishing new business while strengthening relationships with strategic customers in the Greater Toronto Area & Western Canada. The Key Account Manager will report into the Country Manager, Canada, and will typically be working from their home office x2 days a week and x3 days a week in the field visiting accounts. Key Responsibilities: New Business Development and Established Account Growth (Primary Focus): - Establish and maintain good business relationships with several new and existing key accounts in the GTA and Western Canada; must be cognizant of their strategic direction, financial strength, challenges, and overall value as a business partner - Visit accounts x3 days a week and collaborate with key customers to drive growth by building strategic in-store partnerships and identifying both opportunities and barriers to overcome - Identify and develop strong working relationships with cross-functional team members including but not limited to marketing, customer service, purchasing and operations - Champion business needs for the accounts, whether direct buy or serviced through a distributor; work with peers to manage and develop the indirect support team to ensure objectives are met Sales Cycle Ownership: - Develop and manage a business forecast which aligns to goals while ensuring the forecast accounts for market dynamics that are driving the current and future performance, i.e., new areas, new/lost accounts, inventory, account expansion, etc. - Analyze & understand the critical drivers impacting the business and develop strategies and tactics that capitalize on these drivers. Key indicators include POS, OTD, direct/indirect shipments, share development, category index, mix management, spending, returns/markdowns, etc. - Understand and utilize all key measurements available to manage the business pace, i.e., inventory management and SKU productivity - Ensure execution of Canadian marketing strategy and supplement as needed with account-specific programming Trade-Show and Field Execution: - Create and implement new item launch plans with customers through setup marketing materials such as displays, shippers and other promotional tools - Support and own trade show execution from start to finish, participating in customer tradeshows across Canada Analysis and Reporting: - Deliver thought leadership within the account to establish Wellness Pet as THE category resource - Communicate crucial market, trade, and competitive information on a timely basis - Leverage and understand reports using Microsoft BI, Planful, and other Salesforce platforms - Build impactful customer reports and presentations when required Who We’re Looking For Team Wellie is a group of people who are truly obsessed with all the best ways about winning for the consumer and the pets they love. Ideally, our candidate will reside in the Greater Toronto Area and be able to travel to Western Canada once a quarter at minimum. Other requirements include: - Bachelor’s Degree - 1-2 years of proven success and progression within the sales function - Highly analytical with a proven ability and understanding of Key Performance Indicators - Proficiency in Microsoft Office to manage client information, track activities, and produce reports - Effective control of process and projects; detail-oriented and organized - Strong relationship management and presentation skills, including organizational analysis and negotiating - A self-starter with high standards of integrity - Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities - G Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle - Experience in Salesforce/CPG vision is a plus - Pet industry experience and bilingual speaking considered an asset Why Work for Wellness Pet We care about the wellbeing of our people, their families, and their pets.
