Content Moderation - Trust and Safety

ModSquad

Role Description We are looking for an experienced Moderator with experience in child trust and safety to join our remote team. As a member of this project, you will: - Monitor & moderate social feeds for issues raised by the public. - Respond where appropriate using pre-approved text. - Escalate issues to our client's security where appropriate. Project Hours (All Times Pacific): - Monday: 6am-10am PT - Tuesday to Friday: 6am-11am - Saturday & Sunday: 6am-2pm Commitment: 20 hours per week for 90 days. Orientation Begins: TBD Language: English Qualifications - Experience moderating user-created projects and live-streamed content to determine the level of safety. - Focused on the task ahead. - Comfortable with the possibility of viewing extreme or disturbing content. - Experience with child trust and safety. - Understanding of high-level child safety processes. - Experience with Zendesk is a plus. Role Description The Copy & Content Intern will support the Growth and Creative teams in creating high-performing copy across paid advertising channels, landing pages, and digital marketing campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about marketing, advertising, and consumer psychology, and wants hands-on experience writing copy that drives clicks, engagement, and conversions. You will work closely with Paid Media, Creative, and Growth teams to develop ad creatives, landing page content, and marketing assets while learning how data, experimentation, and messaging influence business outcomes. Accountabilities - Paid Media Copy Execution - Write high-performing ad copy for Google Ads, Meta Ads, and TikTok Ads. - Produce multiple copy variations to support A/B testing and campaign iteration. - Apply platform best practices (hooks, CTAs, formatting, policy compliance). - Collaborate with designers and editors to align copy with visual storytelling. - Website & Landing Page SEO Content - Write SEO-optimised landing pages that balance search intent with conversion. - Produce content for core website pages, campaign landing pages, and SEO pages. - Apply SEO fundamentals including keyword placement, headings, meta tags, and structure. - Translate search intent into clear value propositions and CTAs. - Creative & Conversion Copywriting - Craft conversion-focused copy for websites, ads, emails, banners, and social media. - Translate product features into clear benefits and persuasive messaging. - Support CRO initiatives to improve CTR, CVR, and engagement. - Maintain consistent brand voice across multiple Valerie partner brands. - UX, CRO & Content Optimisation - Collaborate with UX and Web teams on messaging hierarchy and CTA clarity. - Write copy for landing pages, wireframes, and testing environments. - Use insights from analytics and A/B tests to optimise messaging performance. - Content Quality & Systems - Ensure copy aligns with brand voice, creative frameworks, and platform standards. - Maintain high standards for grammar, clarity, and accuracy. - Support competitive copy reviews and channel-specific messaging guidelines. - Assess brand content and suggest improvements across SEO, newsletters, blogs, and marketing content.
