Per Diem Clinical Systems Analyst I

Role Description The Clinical Systems Analyst I functions as the primary support contact and expert for the clinical application. They work under the direction of the Sr. Manager to configure, build, install, and support the application. Responsibilities include: - Analyzing workflows and understanding policies, procedures, and constraints of the clinical or business operations. - In-depth and precise investigation and documentation of operational specifications and application functionality. - Leading efforts to analyze and document project requirements for successful system upgrades. - Functioning as the primary contact to troubleshoot problems and questions from end-users during training, go-live, and stabilization periods. - Collaboratively working with all departments as necessary in problem-solving issues related to the application, communication, documentation, and in the implementation and maintenance of the application. - Documenting standard operating procedures for area of responsibility. - Designing, documenting, and executing application testing and training plans. Qualifications - Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience required. - Valid Registered Nurse or Clinical License required within the appropriate clinical field. - 3 years clinical experience preferred. - Prior operational responsibilities for system adoption troubleshooting and workflow validation required. - Strong workflow and problem-solving skills and Operations Improvement experience required. - Valid Registered Nurse license or other Clinical License in the appropriate clinical field required. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. - Ability to deal with simultaneous tasks, communicate effectively, problem-solve, and develop creative solutions to complex problems required. - Strong organizational, problem-solving, and listening skills, attention to detail, innovative thinking, and ability to inspire others required. - High level of customer service skills and participation as a strong, collaborative team player. - Working knowledge or experience in Microsoft Office tools and an understanding of computer system capabilities to address process requirements required. - Ability to contribute to detailed technical discussions and revise technical documentation. - Familiarity and/or certification in Epic is preferred.
