Mid-level Quality Analyst

Vivo (Telefônica Brasil)

• You will develop and maintain the test strategy (manual and automated), covering all levels of software testing; • You will be responsible for testing an entire project across all platforms it must traverse; • You will be responsible for developing the test plan and executing test cases for the multiple features of the application; • You will develop and maintain manual and automated testing strategies; • You will ensure test coverage by working closely with project and development teams to prioritize test execution and report progress and results; • You will drive QA productivity through automation, tools and other best practices; • You will be responsible for promoting a quality culture throughout the organization; • You will interact and collaborate with other development teams within the Telefônica group in Brazil and around the world.

Job Requirements

  • Preferred: currently enrolled in or holder of a degree in STEM or technology fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics or related areas;
  • Experience with functional testing, black-box, white-box and instrumented testing;
  • Experience creating and executing UI test plans;
  • Experience with test types including regression, unit, API, integration and security testing;
  • Experience testing desktop, web and mobile applications;
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies;
  • Desirable knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices;
  • Effective communication with end users, technical teams and management to gather requirements and plan the most appropriate tests;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong focus on delivering a memorable customer experience;
  • Excellent ability to build relationships with peers;
  • Resilience to continuously learn, unlearn and relearn;
  • Willingness to challenge paradigms and propose creative ways to solve problems.
