Associate Director, Commercial Data – Business Systems
CG Oncology
• Building the Commercial Data & Systems Foundation • Stand up the end-to-end commercial data and systems ecosystem needed to support launch readiness and ongoing execution. • Establish and evolve the commercial technology foundation, including Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, MarTech platforms, consent and identity systems, data warehouse and analytics layers, commercial data integrations, and the broader digital ecosystem. • Design solutions that balance immediate launch requirements with long-term scalability and maintainability. • Own Salesforce CRM as the system of record for commercial execution. • Implement Salesforce Marketing Cloud to enable omnichannel engagement. • Ensure tight integration across CRM, marketing, consent, MLR, analytics, and reporting platforms. • Own the commercial data warehouse strategy, including ingestion, transformation, and readiness for analytics and reporting. • Define and implement master data management (MDM) and data stewardship practices across HCP, HCO, account, and affiliation data. • Integrate and manage commercial data aggregators (e.g., claims, prescription, promotional, and engagement data) into a unified data model. • Design and oversee integration across the full commercial systems landscape, ensuring consistent and reliable data flow between CRM, marketing, and messaging platforms, consent and identity systems, data warehouse and BI tools, and other supporting commercial applications. • Create clear system and data flow documentation and governance to support transparency and scalability. • Design and manage access and roster management workflows that support commercial operations. • Ensure role-based access, user onboarding/offboarding, and territory or roster changes are handled cleanly and consistently. • Align access models with governance, compliance, and commercial needs. • Ensure business systems are designed to support dashboards, reporting, and performance tracking from day one. • Partner with analytics stakeholders to enable BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) using clean, trusted data. • Build systems that allow leaders and field teams to easily access and act on insights. • Establish practical governance frameworks across systems and data, including User access controls, Data stewardship and ownership, Environment and release management. • Ensure systems support data privacy, consent, and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, GDPR) without creating unnecessary friction. • Translate policy requirements into clear, operational system processes. • Lead implementation sprints and prioritize work based on business impact. • Build and maintain a clear roadmap for data and business systems that evolve with the organization. • Establish repeatable processes that scale as the commercial footprint grows.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field required
- 8+ years of experience owning or building commercial data platforms or business systems.
- Strong, hands-on Salesforce experience is required, including: Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Commercial system integrations.
- Proven experience building data and business systems from zero in a launch or early-stage environment.
- Experience owning, Data warehouse design and management, Master data management (MDM), Commercial data aggregation and integration.
- Strong understanding of analytics enablement, BI tools, and data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with regulated environments and data privacy requirements (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Experience supporting first commercial launches in biotech, pharma, or healthcare.
- Familiarity with adjacent commercial systems such as, Consent management, Expense management, and Identity or tokenization platforms.
- Comfort operating in lean, fast-moving organizations with high ownership.
