Role Description As a Web Content & Optimization Specialist, you are a hands-on digital professional with a passion for great content, strong search performance, and continuously improving the online experience for our buyers. You combine content discipline with an analytical mindset to manage our global website in WordPress, drive organic traffic, and convert more visitors into pipeline. You are responsible for the day-to-day management and ongoing optimization of our B2B manufacturing/fabrication website, owning everything from maintaining our large digital product catalog to SEO execution, AI optimization (AIO), conversion rate growth, and UX improvements. You report directly to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and work closely with web developers and our international Marketing Managers to align on localized priorities and ensure our site serves audiences across all markets. Location: Remote, with EST or CST time zone strongly preferred What you'll do: - Website Management - Manage and publish content across our global WordPress website, keeping product pages, solution pages, and regional content accurate and up to date. - Maintain our large digital product catalog, ensuring product pages are accurate, complete, well-structured, and optimized for both search and conversion. - Enforce content governance - maintaining brand guidelines, taxonomy, and metadata standards across all pages and markets to ensure a consistent brand voice and experience. - SEO & AI Optimization - Develop and execute on-page and technical SEO strategies including keyword research, metadata optimization, internal linking, and structured data markup. - Lead AI Optimization (AIO) efforts, ensuring our content is structured, authoritative, and formatted to perform well in AI-generated search results, featured snippets, and large language model outputs. - Monitor organic search performance using tools like Google Search Console, UberSuggest, Semrush, or Ahrefs, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. - Conduct regular content audits to identify gaps, cannibalization issues, and pages with declining performance then build and execute a prioritized remediation plan. - Conversion & UX - Drive conversion rate optimization (CRO) focused on measurable growth - designing and running A/B and multivariate tests on key landing pages, forms, and CTAs, and rolling out winning variants. - Identify and test UX improvements that reduce friction for buyers navigating our complex product portfolio and solution set. - Analyze site behavior data (GA4, Hotjar, or similar) to inform decisions on page structure, navigation, and content hierarchy. - Reporting & Collaboration - Track and report on key web KPIs - organic traffic, page engagement, form conversions, and goal completions - and present insights to marketing leadership. - Coordinate with regional and international teams to localize and adapt content for specific markets. - Stay current on SEO and AIO best practices, algorithm and AI model updates, WordPress capabilities, and B2B web experience trends. Qualifications - 2 - 5 years of experience in web content management, digital marketing, or a closely related role, preferably in a B2B environment. - Hands-on WordPress experience - comfortable managing pages, plugins, and content updates. - Solid working knowledge of on-page and technical SEO: keyword research, metadata optimization, internal linking, and structured data. - Demonstrated experience in conversion rate optimization (CRO) with a focus on measurable growth: A/B testing, landing page optimization, and form improvement. - Familiarity with AI Optimization: structuring content to perform in AI-driven search and featured snippets. - Proficiency with web analytics platform, Google Analytics 4, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations. - Strong written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across global, cross-functional teams. - A genuine commitment to staying current on the latest digital technologies, web trends, and evolving best practices: SEO, AIO, CMS, UX, and beyond. Preferred - Strong attention to detail, content quality, and brand consistency. - Copywriting skills - ability to write or meaningfully edit web copy for product pages, landing pages, and CTAs. - Experience with B2B manufacturing/fabrication or complex product environments. - Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS - enough to troubleshoot WordPress issues and communicate clearly with developers. - Experience connecting web forms to marketing automation platforms, particularly Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
