Role Description As a Product Manager – Patient Experience, you will lead the strategy and execution of Vori’s patient-facing digital experience — bringing strong consumer product thinking into healthcare. This role requires a product leader who understands how to build engaging, intuitive, habit-forming digital experiences that drive adoption, retention, and measurable behavior change — not just functional workflows. You will own a patient-centered roadmap informed by analytics, user research, behavioral insights, and strategic priorities. You will apply consumer-grade UX standards to a regulated healthcare environment, ensuring our digital experience feels seamless, personalized, and trusted — while delivering business impact. What You’ll Do - Consumer Product Leadership - Apply modern consumer product frameworks (activation, retention, engagement loops, funnel optimization, A/B testing) to improve patient adoption and long-term engagement. - Design experiences that feel intuitive, emotionally resonant, and behaviorally intelligent — comparable to best-in-class consumer apps. - Define and optimize the patient journey across onboarding, education, care navigation, follow-up, and long-term engagement. - Own key engagement metrics including activation rates, retention, feature adoption, NPS, and patient satisfaction. - Drive experimentation and iterative learning using data-driven hypotheses. - Patient Experience & Clinical Partnership - Serve as a bridge between clinical excellence and consumer usability — ensuring experiences are both evidence-based and frictionless. - Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to translate care models into simple, engaging digital interactions. - Embody the patient and clinician journey to deeply understand motivations, barriers, and behaviors. - Ensure the product experience reflects Vori’s differentiated care model. - Product Strategy & Execution - Own and manage a diverse product roadmap aligned to company strategy and patient value. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Research, Design, Engineering, Clinical, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to gather requirements and prioritize initiatives. - Write clear, actionable product requirements and user stories. - Partner with Engineering to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope. - Develop KPIs and measurement frameworks tied to business impact and patient outcomes. - Monitor performance, user behavior, and feedback to drive continuous improvement. - Conduct competitive research — particularly across consumer digital health and high-performing consumer platforms. - Compliance & Operational Excellence - Ensure product compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations. - Manage relationships with vendors and external partners. - Analyze product launches to confirm positive business and engagement impact. - Relentlessly iterate to sharpen both patient experience and business outcomes. What Success Looks Like in 12 Months - Increased patient activation and week-2 retention. - Improved NPS and patient satisfaction metrics. - Measurable increases in digital engagement and feature adoption. - Reduced friction in onboarding and navigation. - Demonstrable business impact tied to patient experience improvements. Qualifications - 5+ years of Product Management experience. - Demonstrated experience building consumer-facing digital products (B2C or high-engagement platforms). - Strong understanding of consumer growth and engagement principles (activation funnels, retention curves, cohort analysis, experimentation). - Proven ability to ship intuitive, user-centered experiences that drive measurable adoption and engagement. - Experience working with UX/design teams to create elegant, frictionless digital journeys. - Strong analytical skills with comfort using data to inform prioritization and experimentation. - Excellent collaboration and communication skills. - Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment. - Clear understanding of HIPAA and healthcare regulatory constraints (or ability to rapidly learn). Requirements - Strongly Preferred - Consumer healthcare or digital health experience. - Virtual care / telemedicine experience. - Experience building mobile-first or engagement-heavy applications. - Experience designing behavior-change or habit-forming products. - Startup experience (early-stage or high-growth). - Experience building products serving employers, brokers, or payers. - Technical fluency; comfortable partnering with engineers, architects, and data teams. - Experience with platforms such as Care Management systems, EMRs, RCM/Billing, or Clinical Decision Support. - Proficiency with Figma, Lucidchart, JIRA, and related tools.
