Qualifications - 4–5 years of experience in backend development using Java (8–11). - Strong experience developing and deploying microservices in public cloud environments, preferably AWS. - Solid understanding of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL. - Experience with non-relational databases such as DynamoDB and MongoDB. - Hands-on experience with messaging and event streaming systems including Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, and SNS. - Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization with Docker, and orchestration with Kubernetes. - Familiarity with observability best practices including structured logging, metrics, and health checks using tools such as DataDog. - Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies including JUnit, integration testing, and contract testing with Postman/Newman. - Experience working with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools. - Strong understanding of software engineering best practices including Design Patterns, SOLID principles, Clean Code, and 12-Factor App methodology.
