Senior Test Engineer – Java, Selenium
Gartner
• Review functional and technical documents to understand the Product requirements. • Create and execute manual and automated test cases for functionality, acceptance criteria for Web and Mobile Application. • Engage and partner with developers and BA in an agile development environment to understand requirements and perform testing. • Create test scenarios, run functional tests, create regression suite, create testing artifacts, and raise defects with detailed information. • Follow coding standards, build appropriate tests and deployment scripts and review project artifacts created by peers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant professional experience
- 4+ years' experience in an IT or Business environment testing highly scalable applications
- 4+ year of hands-on experience in Web Application Testing
- 4+ year of extensive experience in creating automation frameworks
- Experience in automating web applications using test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber & etc.
- Proficient in Java language
- Good understanding of Appium (iOS and Android) is nice to have
- Proficient in SQL for testing
- Experience in testing API’s using Postman or automation tool will be a plus
- Hands-on experience with Test management tools like JIRA
- Intermediate proficiency in Javascript & Python
