Role Description The Nurse Practitioner provides high quality advanced nursing care in accordance with professional regulatory standards and within the scope of the nurse practitioner license. This role provides multidisciplinary care including: - Patient evaluations and assessments - Patient education - Interventions and documentation of plan of care - Requests for physician consultations and multidisciplinary consults - Recognition of ethical/legal/medical dilemmas in nursing practice - Conferring with appropriate resources and staff for ethical decisions - Working as an independent provider and/or under indirect supervision of a supervising physician - Treating a variety of age populations Depending on the area, may work different hours, weekends, and holidays, and may require on-call time. Privileges granted by the Medical Staff Department can include: - Arranging admission and transfer of patients - Performing and dictating exams, history and physicals - Rounding on assigned patients and writing progress notes with plan of care - Dictating discharge summaries - Furnishing medications (non-narcotic) and durable medical equipment (DME) - Administering controlled substances III, IV, V with appropriate licensure/certification - Administering controlled substances II with appropriate licensure/certification - Ordering blood products, laboratory tests, radiological, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and neurological studies - Ordering oxygen therapy, respiratory treatment, and pulmonary tests - Performing drain and suture removal - Ordering and administering medications and IV therapy with the ability to assess and adjust appropriate dosing Performs other duties as assigned. • Overseeing and enhancing the firm’s risk management framework across market, trading, and exchange operational risks. • Ensure robust risk controls, real-time monitoring, and crisis response mechanisms. • Develop and refine market risk models, including Value-at-Risk (VaR), stress testing, and scenario analysis. • Collaborate with engineers to design and execute stress tests, scenario analyses, and sensitivity tests. • Establish automated alerting systems and on-call response processes for risk-related emergencies.
