• Handle software development and test automation with expertise in modern software architecture and best practices. • Mentor junior engineers and ensure high coding standards within the team. • Collaborate in performance engineering using industry-standard tools to enhance automation systems. • Engage in CI/CD processes to facilitate streamlined release cycles.
Job Requirements
- Deep understanding of modern software architecture, including microservices, containerization (Docker), and cloud-native environments.
- High proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, TypeScript, or C#) with a focus on writing clean, scalable code.
- Advanced knowledge of industry-standard test design patterns and the ability to apply them effectively to existing UI and API frameworks.
- Extensive experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Postman, or RestAssured.
- Solid experience in performance engineering using tools like k6, JMeter, or Locust to identify system bottlenecks.
- Advanced proficiency with CI/CD orchestration tools (like Harness, BitBucket, or Jenkins) to optimize automated release cycles.
- High comfort level with cloud-based testing infrastructure like SauceLabs, BrowserStack, or AWS Device Farm.
- Strong technical analytical skills, the ability to interpret complex specs and discover edge cases through deep exploration of software behaviors.
- Expert technical communication skills, with the ability to translate complex quality risks into actionable engineering tasks.
- Strong technical ownership and a readiness to provide peer-level mentorship to junior engineers to improve overall team coding standards.
- Generally seven (7) plus years of experience in Software Engineering and Test Automation, with a proven track record of significantly improving existing automation systems.
- ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).
