Membership Growth & Operations Contractor

Blavity Inc.

• Support the AfroTech Insider membership program on a part-time contract basis • Own the day-to-day execution of operational and infrastructure projects • Build and manage conversion pathways from free and low-cost programming into paid annual membership • Implement and maintain UTM tracking and attribution setup across all membership registration links • Ensure public-facing membership pages clearly communicate program tiers, pricing, and the path to joining • Track attendance and conversion data across paid and free programming touchpoints and produce monthly reports • Build and maintain a membership KPI dashboard tracking enrollment by channel, churn, and event engagement • Coordinate with the operations team to establish data connections needed for membership programming

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field; equivalent professional experience accepted
  • 3–5+ years managing membership programs, subscription businesses, or community-driven initiatives including direct ownership of operations, not just supporting them
  • Demonstrated experience building conversion funnels, implementing UTM tracking, and coordinating email nurture campaigns end-to-end
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to pull, interpret, and present membership and conversion data to senior leadership independently
  • Proven project management ability across multiple simultaneous workstreams involving cross-functional stakeholders in marketing, product, and operations
  • Self-directed with a track record of executing against a defined project list without requiring day-to-day oversight
