GFT Technologies

• Evolve and maintain the Android frontends of the native chat, with a focus on scalability, performance, and user experience • Define and promote mobile architecture and engineering best practices • Design and evolve reusable components (SDKs) • Work in partnership with Product, Design, and Backend teams on discovery and delivery • Ensure quality, accessibility, observability, and security in deliveries • Support the evolution of conversational capabilities (e.g., transactional chat, human fallback) • Write code oriented toward modularization, reuse, and low coupling • Adhere to the design system and UI standards • Monitor performance (render time, resource consumption, ANR) • Ensure testability and adequate coverage • Pay attention to accessibility (TalkBack, navigation, contrast) • Observability as a requirement (structured, monitorable logs).

Job Requirements

  • Strong experience as a Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin)
  • Proficiency in Jetpack Compose (declarative UI, state management, performance)
  • Knowledge of modern Android architectures (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture, modularization)
  • Experience with real-time integrations (WebSocket / event streaming)
  • Experience consuming REST APIs and using networking libraries
  • Familiarity with design systems and componentization
  • Experience with testing (unit and instrumented tests) and a quality culture using tools such as Firebase (crash monitoring)
  • Engineering practices: Git, CI/CD, code review, versioning
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with chat/conversational platform architectures
  • Experience with mobile SDKs and library development
  • Knowledge of event-driven systems / messaging
  • Experience with mobile observability (logs, metrics, tracing)
  • Experience in SuperApp / high-scale environments
  • Understanding of conversational UX / chat-first experiences.
